H had a problem with his Fitbit a few months ago. They sent him a new one.
Last week, my Fitbit, which was purchased in early January, just stopped working, wouldn't send any info and wouldn't charge even though I'd had no problem before. I was travelling the next day so I didn't do anything for a week but looked at it again last night and we can't figure out the issue.
I just got a text from H that his Fitbit is broken and is not charging.
Are we just cursed or has anyone else had these problems? I kind of just want my money back.
My sister has been through 3 FitBits - all keep breaking for no reason. She just keeps sending them back and they keep sending her new ones! This latest one has lasted the longest, about 8 or so months.
Mine wasn't recording my sleep so I had t reset it while it was charging and that fixed the issue. No other problems but they're only two months old at this point.
Okay I'm kind of glad to hear others have been having the same problems! I felt like customer service was going to give us a huge WTF and refuse to send us a new one. What I was most annoyed about was I walked about 5 miles a day while it was broken and my steps weren't recorded!
I've had a few issues before (on a couple of different models) and every time fitbit has sent me a brand new one at no cost to me. Contact customer service and go through their trouble-shooting (usually a hard reset and maybe a firmware update) and it it still doesn't work they should send a new one.
