ewall I'll update once I get the bottles in but I love the ease of pumping into the bags. I also like the caps because I've lost milk from bags' ziplocks not sealing well.
The really awesome part is that they fit through the mouth of a normal size bottle so you can pull them out one by one and insert into a bottle frozen and then leave in the fridge as they thaw until it's time to use. It makes it easy to adjust serving size.
What kind of bottles did you have? I'm wondering if four sticks plus the dr browns tube thing will fit. Do the sticks stick together once you transfer them to a bag?

We used all Medela bottles (and a few playtex cheap ones in the bigger 6 or 8 oz size).
Sometimes I would only be able to get 3 sticks in the night before and then add a fourth in the morning. I'm not familiar with the Dr. Browns bottles.
If the sticks are frozen well when you put them in the freezer bags, they may stick a little but are pretty easy to break apart.
thefield thanks!! Dr Browns have the same neck size as Medela, and the glass ones I have are probably wide enough. I'm just trying to figure out if this strategy would be easier than thawing the bags. Hmm.
