Good vibes to your family. My mom has had breast cancer twice (she's fine now) and has had a couple of scares that turned out to be cysts, and I will never forget how that waiting period feels. It's so stressful, even when it's short. I hope you get good news today!
I'm sure that is incredibly unnerving. I have a positive story to share, my mom has had 3 different types of cancer in the past 4.5 years and has done well each time. It is very scary with each diagnosis though. She's had lung cancer and skin cancer, both of which were weird varieties and for the skin cancer she had to travel from VA to NYC for treatment. Most recently she had breast cancer requiring radiation treatment.
Hopefully he can a follow-up appointment for an ultrasound or biopsy quickly and you guys get positive news ASAP next week!

Oh, I'm sorry this update is so ... not helpful to your h or you.. I hope he can get in for the u/s asap next week. Plus, I would think if the NP were terribly concerned, she'd have sent him for an u/s or an mri at an ER? That's what I'd tell myself anyway. I hope you can relax this weekend.
Thats frustrating. It's too bad they didn't schedule the ultrasound, and then have an appointment to go over the results. Where is the lump? is it possible it is just a lipoma and not anything nasty?
Lots of good thoughts. Is there anyone who could watch your kids while you go with him?
Possibly but I actually think he'd rather go alone. If I go, then it feels like something's "wrong" rather than a check in with his doctor, if that makes sense. Male thought process. I think he prefers it when I stay breezy so I'm trying.
That make sense. and hopefully it is just a check in .
