Mumford and Sons is in Waverly, Iowa this summer. But tickets are $200 a piece. We aren't going to buy them. Ugh, why so expensive!
They are the band I would love to see the most. Hopefully in the future they do more concerts that aren't festivals. I wold travel to see them in the future. I guess I have a price limit though lol.
They are AMAZING live. I was lucky to seem them twice when tickets were no where near $200. That's nuts!
Someday I will pony up the money and see Pearl Jam. The last couple tours the ticket prices have been nuts, but I think I am just over it and will pay the insane price when they are in the area again.
I'm lucky that most of my favorite bands are not so insanely popular that they charge high ticket prices.
I really want Jimmy Eat World to tour again. The past couple of times they've played in California we haven't been able to go. We saw them at a music festival years ago and they were not so good so I'd like to wipe that from my memory.
I think The Who is touring this year, too. I need to see where they will be near us, I'd love to see them.
So, I just spent $540 on two tickets to Mumford, and two tickets to Avett Brothers and Old Crow Medicine Show. lollll
June is going to be a fun month!
God I love the Avett Brothers. I wonder if ticket prices vary by regional popularity, because the ticket prices were cheap both times I saw them in LA.

They haven't been too bad. The ones I just bought were $66 each for the second row of the lower bowl, great view of the stage.
When I saw them last year at a smaller venue, I want to say they were only $50 for floor seats?
My friend and I are both only 5'1" so we opted for the lower bowl this time. lol

Ok, that's not too bad! I think the tickets were about $50 here too, for good seats at The Shrine.
I feel like I see totally reasonable ticket prices when shows are announced. But then when you buy them and add in all the freaking fees and whatever, the cost doubles or more.
For ex, Ben Harper was $40 or $45 each. I think it was ultimately $160 for both. And our seats aren't even great.
This drives me nuts. I rather just pay $xx for face value and not know what it costs for printing/shipping/handling fees.
I bought 6 Bill Joel tickets for Fenway this summer. I am selling 4 of them and face value on the ticket is $99, but after fees and shit, they're $130 a piece. I always feel like a douche when I have to tell people they're paying for the full price of the ticket, not just the face value.

I'm just going to assume the tickets for this year's concert are higher because of OCMS. I love them, so it doesn't bother me to pay a bit more to see them too.
I saw Paul Rodgers with Queen a few years ago. They obviously did a bunch of Queen songs, but also some Bad Company. It was amazing, and I'd pay good money to see them again.
I saw that tour (and have their CD--in fact a song from it is playing on iTunes right now) and Queen with Adam Lambert and I have to say Adam was much, much better on the Queen stuff than Paul was. I'd pay to see Paul/Queen doing Bad Company stuff and Adam/Queen doing Queen stuff:)--that would be a great concert.
But then, I'd pay to see Brian May and Roger Taylor play most anything, anywhere. I met Brain backstage during his Back to the Light Tour and had tickets and backstage passes to his show in NYC, but we got hit with a massive March blizzard and I couldn't make it:( Still bums me out. I'd get in the Back to the Future DeLorean to see Queen (I was never once in the same country as a concert when Freddie was alive).
DH dropped ~$1,000 between tickets, train, and hotel room to see Cream at Madison Square Garden.

I paid a pretty penny to see Depeche Mode and I'd do it again. I'd also pay to see the Cure or any of my other fav alternative bands from my high school years.
The Gorge is awesome, I've seen him there over 10 times (but one weekend is 3 times, so nothing too crazy, and the set list is always different). I've seen him at the MGM, too. It was strange to see him indoors!
This summer I will hit my 70th Dave show. I've yet to make it out to the west coast to see them. Definitely on my bucket list. My friend that I usually go to all my shows with is a teacher, and Gorge is almost always labor day weekend, so it's tough for him to get out there. I've seen them at pretty much every venue on the east coast.
Definitely try to make the trip to the Gorge. It is an amazing venue and a super fun weekend and the set lists are amazing. We made a lot of friends camping. DH, who is not a DMB fan, had a blast and asks me every year if I want to go back. (Although it is an exhausting weekend!) We almost went back this year, but decided to try out some venue in Colorado (not Red Rocks) instead. I saw them at Red Rocks in 2005 (well, 2 of the 4 nights that we got tickets). I think they don't play there often because of the venue size - but every 10 years, come on!

Yaaaaaas! How did I forget Depeche Mode? I never saw them, and I regret this deeply.
I spent a decent amount (for me) to buy a single ticket to see Foo Fighters when they come here in the fall. I couldn't find anyone to go with and I figured I better take the chance when I had it.
I would die if I got to see Fleetwood Mac at Red Rocks.
I cant think of anyone I would see regardless of cost. I want to say Justin Timberlake, but I just passed on him last year because of cost. #iispoor
They're not going to be at Red Rocks. Which explains why it's not sold out. They're coming to a bigger venue here. I'm trying to decide if it's worth it. I'm sure I'll regret it if we don't go.

I'm seeing Lindsey Stirling at RR in a few months and OMG I am excited. Saw her last fall and I'd pay almost anything.
Other than that there isn't anyone I'd pay ANYthing for, but quite a few that would make me part with a chunk of change. I love live music, I live for the energy of concerts.
Phish - duh! We are not so patiently awaiting the tour announcement so we can finalize our plans. We're expecting an east coast festie and maybe a Colorado show.
Madonna. I even flew to London once to see her (my sis was living there at the time). I have seen her probably 6-7 times and don't care what the tickets cost.
Don't flame me, but George Michael. I love him. My friend and I went to see him in NY several years ago and the show was so amazing that we immediately got on StubHub and bought tix to see him in Philly a few nights later. I would pay anything if he toured again.
DH and I went to vegas 2x to see Judas Priest.. his choice. The venue, The Perl at the Palms, was pretty cool though.
I saw George Michael in Philly too. He was AMAZING!

I don't know what Red Rocks is, but H and I went to see them in October and it was a great show! They were just here for Valentines' Day but we didn't get tickets (I thought it'd be too close after having DD2) and I regretted it. You should go!
