We are finally moving everything into our new place tomorrow! No more living out of suitcases. I have a feeling all of my weekend plans will involve unpacking and cleaning. I am hoping we can get out Sunday to explore the new neighborhood. And by that, I mean the multiple bars that are in walking distance from our new house.
This weekend: tonight DH is doing some crossfit thing. Tomorrow we're doing a volunteer thing where I'll be showing some folks how to spin wool. The group will probably go out for supper after. Sunday: I'll be packing for my work trip.
Somewhere in there is laundry, more unpacking/tidying/organizing/etc...
My goal this weekend is to leave the fucking house!!! I think I'm going to go couch shopping, bc that involves several stores spread all over the metro area.
I could not be a full-time work-at-home person. I've been working from home (or just off) for 8 of the past 15 work days. I'm going crazy. I almost went in today just to get out of the house, but it's still yucky out there (and I have a 50-mile commute). Tomorrow it should be good.
Tonight: Picking up DD2 from acro, dropping DD1 off at a friend's house for a sleepover, going by BB&B to return some pillows.
Tomorrow: Picking up girl scout cookies bright and early, meeting other girl scouts and giving them said cookies for a booth sale, picking up DD1 from sleepover, taking her to my mom's so she can go to my nephew's basketball game, taking DD1 to a birthday party. Hoping to get my mom to keep both of them overnight so H and I can have a date night.
Sunday: more cookie booths and another birthday party. Grocery shopping.
I'm realizing that if we didn't have kids our weekends would be so free...

My parents are keeping the kids overnight either tonight or tomorrow, so DH and I will be having a date night (as long as the dog isn't vomiting profusely, fingers crossed).
Tonight - Dinner and a play with the guy. Tomorrow and Sunday - State archery championship. Probably will spend Saturday night with the guy and go out and do something fun, depends on when I have to shoot Sunday. Sunday - brunch with the KC group if the schedule allows. Hopefully because the place pugz picked looks amazing!
Today: walk with DD and a friend, library, grocery store. Maybe noodling around in the yard a bit (don't hate me, it's 50 degrees here in MT and I have crocus blooming). Run when H gets home, then home made pizza. I also need to work on an article due next Friday.
Saturday: Coffee with friends (maybe), repainting a bunch of trim in our house, cleaning out closets, BBQ burgers, article work
Just found out the down and dirty truth behind our neighbor's divorce, which was announced via Facebook a couple of weeks ago. He was having an affair and she (along with their 11 year old daughter) walked in on him and his other woman doing the deed in their house. Oof.
We have a pretty quiet weekend planned, but that's OK because the rest of our weekends this month are busy.
Tonight we are going to Home Depot to get stuff for the lawn and run a few other errands. Will end up somewhere for dinner but haven't figured out where yet.
Tomorrow we are going to the Home Show at the convention center to get some ideas, contractor names, etc for some upcoming house projects we want to do. Then we're going to lunch at a new restaurant that just opened. After that we'll come home and take advantage of the sunny and 60 degree weather and get the lawn fertilized. I have no idea what we are doing tomorrow night yet.
It's going to be a low key weekend at home. Hanging out at home tonight, cleaned my up the house and doing laundry. We need to put all our xmas decorations back in the attic- we stuck them in our spare room months ago and then got lazy :-#
Saturday we'll do spring cleanup in the yard and then are having friends over for dinner. More yard work or a hike for Sunday, then dinner out with my parents since they'll get into town. Hoping for a low key, productive weekend
I was off work yesterday, and came back to a billion things to do today. I hate this job. I always feel weird when I find it stressful or overwhelming, because it's all easy stuff, it just comes from so many directions and it spurts where things get nuts. I hope I get the job I interviewed for yesterday so I can GTF out of here.
This weekend, I'm babysitting a friend's toddler tonight and all day tomorrow. He and his wife are going to a birthing class for their 2nd baby. I'm worried tomorrow is going to be a LONG day but hopefully fun.
Sunday I have no plans so far. Maybe lunch with a friend. I'm hoping for a lazy day at home with BF and maybe some cleaning.

OMG. Bad enough that the wife walked in on that but the kid too. UGH

No kidding. Most of us (in our tight group of friends) could have predicted something like this happening but it just sucks that he didn't just leave the marriage when he realized that they couldn't make it work. He was a really good friend to me/all of us but this just puts such a bad picture of him out there. Not to mention the damage to their daughter (plus they have a younger one, 6 years old. She wasn't there when he was busted though, thankfully.) who is having a very hard time with it. It makes me so sad for them.
Randoms: I used to work with a guy who had a creepy crush on Britney Spears back in the day - when she was a teenager and he was mid 40s. I used to wonder every now and then if I'd be lusting after age inappropriate people when I got to his age. I realized the other day, that my "list" people are always age appropriate. I might find out they're younger than me by a few years, but I'm definitely not in cougar country. And I have no idea why this matters to me lol.
This is totally true for me too. I do not get when 30-40 year old women have crushes on the Justin Bieber/Zac Efron types. They are young enough to be your son in some cases! #gettoffmylawn
Tonight - bowling then wash and dry my hair hopefully. I almost declined bowling since I wanted to wash and dry my hair then realized I would literally be turning down plans on favor of washing my hair. Yeesh.
Tomorrow - go to Saratoga to celebrate a friend's birthday. This will involve karaoke which is my friend's FAVORITE so it might be a late night.
Sunday - hopefully don't barf driving back from Saratoga. Bowling league at night.
Random: I'm heading home from SFO. I just checked the weather. I told MH he should just come here instead. I'm over the east coast and its winter weather.

How a grown woman finds Justin Bieber attractive is beyond me. Please report to the flameful confessions thread of this is you.
No real plans. We might go for a hike since Saturday is supposed to be nice. I can't imagine going anywhere tonight. I very idiotically ate pizza for lunch, even knowing I would react to it. Now I'm trying not to be sick here at work.
Tonight we are having a cozy "mini date night" in & tomorrow we will be working on the basement (surprise, surprise!!) & then having a real date night wooo hooo!!!!!
Tonight: going home and finishing cleaning. DH's/my BFF + 2 other people (1 friend, 1 CW of BFF's I don't know) are coming to stay over tonight. We're ordering pizza and having a low key evening. My mom, who is at home with DD today, is taking my dog home with her tonight. Tomorrow: BFF's bachelor party. DH (best man) is in charge. They're going to my favorite beer fest ever (without me ), then dinner at a German restaurant (Brauhaus Schmitz for my Philly area peeps). I am taking DD and going to my parents' for their town's St. Patrick's Day parade. I will take my 77 year old aunt (well she turns 77 on Tuesday) to the bar for Irish Car Bombs afterwards, then go to my cousin's house for a St. Patrick's Day party and all the corned beef I can shove into my pie hole. DD and I are sleeping over at my parents'. Sunday: Leaving DD at my parents' so I can run home to go to church (long story, I posted about it on MMM), then backtracking to go out to brunch with my mom, DD, aunt and 2 cousin's for my aunt's birthday. Sunday night, my mom will come back with the dog and stay over to watch DD on Monday. DH will be recovering from the party throughout all of this.
ETA: my mom just told that the parade is postponed til next week. Gahhhhh.
I am literally counting down the minutes until today is over (already had two brutal work calls) and it is only 10:30
Tonight I have dinner with my sister, cousin, and aunt. Tomorrow is busy with a haircut, book group, girl time, and my sister's graduation party. Sunday is get sh*t done around the house day.
