The warm weather made up here finally! 40-50s, maybe even 60 degrees one day if we're lucky! I moved my indoor plants to the outside to the deck for the day and was finally able to stick my hammock outside vs having it in the living room I plan to spend a fair amount of time outdoors over the next few days.

Well since I have nothing going on this weekend and I won't be here for next Friday's randoms I'll share those plans....I'll be running in the Grand Canyon!! My brother and I were going to do rim-to-rim but the one rim is still closed for the season so we're going to do an 18-miler out and back. I don't really know what to expect weather-wise or how much running we'll do vs hiking uphill/downhill but I am looking forward to it since I have never seen the Grand Canyon and this seems like a good way to see a lot of it. I'll bring back pictures!
Fun weekend ahead- out to an early dinner and then relaxing at home tonight. Tomorrow we're going out to lunch and then to a tasting event at one of our fave wineries. Work's been so crazy for both of us it will be nice to have the day together. Sunday morning early group trail run, so I'm looking forward to getting home and having most of the day to relax and putter around the house. It's supposed to approach the mid 30s I believe- yahoo!

Tomorrow getting in a run. Washing and waxin the car. At some point this weekend a hike. Who knows maybe we will go to a town and explore this weekend since H's schedule is about to be up in the air after this weekend for the next 6 months.
We are going to Brooklyn for a wedding. I plan on trying to run somewhere (treadmill at the hotel??) and I imagine I will spend the rest of the weekend being Debbie Downer trying to keep my husband out of trouble this weekend. I really have no idea how he made it through college without getting kicked out of school.
ktzmoh - I won't like your post because that's rough. I hope your kiddo feels better soon, and I REALLY hope you can have a good long run. I'd say go for a mellow pace & easy route if possible. GL !
@vtcucake -- good luck with the writing and dissertation jazz. I would possibly smack my H if he did that. Grrrr!
I hope to relax tonight and I have a little bit of paperwork I must do. Tomorrow I'll try for a decent long run yet again and see how far I get. At least weather looks great -- sunny and 30's. I'll work some Saturday and Sunday and maybe do some cleaning and a nap. Exciting life.
LLL is going to be opening a store in my town. Except it's not a store, but a showroom. So less products. WTFever. As long as I can return things I bought online there I'll be happy.

We got the initial results from our genetic testing back today. Everything looks good, so far. It'll be a few more weeks before we get the rest. I'm a little anxious.

Oops, sometimes I hit the "like" button, not because I like it, but more as an acknowledgement that I read the post. I don't like the ear infection either, but can empathize.
Antibiotics and ibuprofen are miracle drugs. And I sketched out a route that is as close to hill free as I can find around here. I'm crossing my fingers for a pain free run, and have cross my heart promised to call for a pick up if I get in trouble

And we're having another boy!
Congrats!! How crazy & exciting that you got to find out so soon. I'm already imagining your boys will be great friends (and mischief makers)! And your DD will keep them in line.
No big plans this weekend. My long run is out of the way, so yay!
Ditto! I would have rather run in the 40 degree weather this w/e, but it's done! Hopefully no more leaping and hopping over ice patches this training cycle.

I did something to my back shoveling and now my leg is numb. Probably a disc. Ugh. This isn't good. Fingers crossed it's just a pulled muscle throwing me out of alignment

H is on his way home from being out of town all week. Our heat appears to not be working upstairs. I cranked up the downstairs heat and hope that keeps us reasonable through the night. Ugh, I don't want to spend a lot of money to fix it because we won't need it much longer. Tonight is the last night below.
Tomorrow I have my run with my running group, and I'm going out to dinner with a friend. The weather is supposed to be gorgeous here. I can't wait.
Hugs to a bunch of you in this thread & congrats runblondie26!!
The last two days have been hellish at work. The good news is that my boss has thanked me for rocking, the bad news is that I left with a massive headache...so I came home & drank bourbon. LOL
It's supposed to be really nice this weekend. DH & I are planning on a long run sometime tomorrow morning. Tomorrow night, our neighbor is having a 40th birthday at some rented place downtown on the river, so we'll go to that. Sunday I might plan & prep for our garden.
Randoms: I always need to have some sort of travel plan. I get really antsy when I don't have something on the calendar. Well next weekend I leave for Austin for SXSW (work) Sat-Wed. Then that Friday, DH & I go to Charleston for our 5 yr anniversary. April we have NYC for my SIL's 40th birthday. May we were going to go to Portland, Seattle, and Denver, but now we're moving that trip to September & instead, we just decided that we're taking off to the BVIs for 5 nights! Yay travel!!! I'm so excited for the next 3 months.

I just made a long run plan with my friend because I knew I wouldn't do it otherwise. But now I want to bail. I'm SO loving my week time runs, but not loving the long run on Saturday. I want to take all the time off on Fridays to do them. I have loved having my weekends.
Also, my Rent the Runway dress came and it is so. tight. in the rib cage. Oof. The size up wasn't available. Guess I won't plan on breathing deeply tomorrow night?
