Delray beach. we just returned from a 10-day visit. We've been going here for 8 years, and my Inlaws have been forever. It's actually gotten really cool the last few years! Great downtown and restaurants and the beach is fabulous.
My grandparents live in St. Augustine so I've been there 10+ times over the years. It's truly beautiful with lots of cute little restaurants and shops. The beaches are very nice as long as you're not expecting the caribbean. I almost suggested it in your other post, but the tide (har! beach pun!) seemed so overwhelming for the gulf.
Go to the alligator farm! Your daughter will love it. If you end up going, PM me for places to see, where to eat, etc.
Hello! Could you give me the restaurant recs for St. Augustine?

Not Jenny, but I can!
Downtown: The Columbia - required dining for St. Augustine! The Floridian Harry's (kind of touristy, but I love it anyway and they have a gorgeous patio area outside) Mojo BBQ - super casual, but really good food Cruisers - same as Mojo. Super (SUPER) casual, but great food. Get the marinated chicken in anything if you go.
Beach: Conch House - SUCH a fun atmosphere. I have no idea the details of your trip, but if you have any kid-free time go to Reggae Sunday here! Gypsy Cab Co - restaurant is kind of a hole in the wall, but the food is amazing
Further north (Vilano/Ponte Vedra Beach): Caps on the Water Barbara Jean's (YUM) The Reef (brunch on Sundays is fantastic)
Thanks!! From your list which is the best place to go with a crazy tot and that doesn't serve only seafood. Do you live in the area or just visit a lot?

Mmm my vote would be the Columbia. Its a big restaurant, very family friendly and a large menu. I also love Caps, the view is amazing but the menu is a lot of seafood. Also, OC whites is really good.

Thanks. I was thinking about Columbia after checking the list but wasn't sure if it was family friendly

I don't know if this has been said, but a lot of beaches in the Daytona area allow cars, which some people like but I hate. I don't think St Augustine does, though.

The Columbia or Harry's.
I live in the area.
I am jealous but then I have the silly notion that If I lived there it would feel like just one big vacation.
Another vote for St. Augustine. My ILs are there and we go all the time. The beach on Anastsia island is actually really shallow and the beach is hard packed but soft sand so acutually pretty good for kids. It does allow card but needs to be four wheel drive.
