Morning. I woke up this morning and started to get ready for work. Then I realized that it's Saturday lol. Since I already did my hair and makeup I didn't go back to bed. It's going to be a long day.
cinco, I couldn't figure out what the white background is, and then I realized it's probably snow. Lol! So strange that Minnesota has already been melted down to brown grass for 2 weeks. I hope your back feels better very soon. I often get a tight, sore lower back after longer runs, and doing forward folds and some down dog and child's pose sometimes helps work it out.
Happy Saturday all. I'm lazy today because I shouldn't have to work much today. Just a few hours later. I'm heading out for my run and trying to decide how far. I think about 10, and I'll go long next weekend again if everything feels good. I had an awesome run yesterday for the first time in weeks, but I did only run 4 miles.

I'm trying to motivate myself to go to the gym. I had physical therapy yesterday, and my shoulder blade is really bruised and achy. I was told I have to cut back on the intensity of my workouts for a bit and I'm trying not to let it derail me. I struggle with being an all or nothing kind of person.
On a happier note, we are going to a friend's birthday party tonight and we hope to get a hike in tomorrow, weather permitting.
We have a stupid woodpecker that shows up every spring and pecks the side of our house. He's back this morning and driving the dogs and I batty. I just banged on the wall and he's gone for now. But he'll be back.
I am not running today. Nope. I'm going to rest and drink lots of coffee from this new giant mug I bought in Disneyland. Maybe I'll do something tomorrow.

I ran a 5K with my sister this morning. I had a lot of fun and she had a 2 minute PR from her previous best time (which was 2 weeks ago). Then we went to IHOP. Nom.

12 miles this morning with the training run group for my marathon. I am so happy I found a group of ladies to run with. It has made the miles fly by each week and I am excited for running friends!
