Saturday night-ish who's around?

I am somewhat bored now lol. I am making plans to go pick up dinner in a bit for for now we are watching Fast and the Furious 6, H is still figuring out if he's headed out with friends tonight or not, and I am dreaming of my trip to Target tomorrow since H suggested we go. That never happens and the fact that we went to Costco earlier, I am slightly giddy, and considering that an awesome weekend. Yes, I do realize how sad that sounds.

Here, ish. Spent the day shopping with my aunt and going to the Nordstrom spring trend show. Then H and j went out to Woodinville to pick up a wine club shipment, and now we are headed to REI and to get dinner. Today wraps up shopping for our cruise, so I feel super accomplished.

Hi! I just moved to the Seattle area a couple of months ago and thought I might start posting here. I post (very) sporadically on TTTC.

Mr. Mulder and I are just relaxing tonight. I have work tomorrow so it will probably an early night for me.

We just had an hour long reminiscing dance party before putting the girls to bed and now H is still going. I really wish I could remember all the names of some of the songs he found but good gravy it has taken us back lol

I'm picking up pizza after hanging out with DD's new friends mom for a bit. Seriously I am so happy we moved...DD has made SO many friends = H and I have made so many friends! We're always busy but I seriously love it.

The beginning of the school year was rough because we completely flipped her world. But she is so happy, and I honestly finally feel like a good mom.

We just got home. I took Sadie out and one of our neighbors had their dog out...some kind of bulldog. It was on a leash, but they weren't holding it. I stayed in our stairway because I didn't want Sadie to start barking or pulling towards the dog. The owner girl saw Sadie, gasped and asked me to take her back inside. Then, her dog ran full force towards us and put Sadie's whole muzzle right in its mouth. Guys, I really don't think it wanted to play. Thankfully, James came out with Gunner right then and it startled the dog enough that it let go and the girl was able to pick up the leash. James lost it on her and told her to get control of her dog and get it out of here. Sadie is fine. The dog didn't tear her up or anything - no blood, Sadie was super excited to come in because it was dinner time. I'm 99% sure she's totally fine, but it was really scary. REALLY SCARY. We have been guilty of having Sadie off leash in the past (not for several years, but it did happen when she was younger), but she would never run up and (what I call) attack another dog. This girl knew that her dog was going to do that as soon as she saw Sadie and it makes me so angry that they would take that risk in a condo complex. What if it would have been Tman out there? Would the dog have attached him? I don't have any breed sterotypes. Gunner is a doberman and he's technically on the "vicious breed" list, but he's the sweetest sweetheart in the whole world. STILL, he's bred to be a guard dog and I know that he will bark at people and we would never take him outside off leash I'm offended by this and so sad to see my Sadie get attacked like that. My feelings are hurt for her.

georgeharrison That is truly appalling behavior and, to be blunt, bad dog ownership. I'm so glad Sadie is okay!!

Update: I talked to the hubs about what he said to me yesterday and he apologized. He is being supportive of me seeing someone and offered to come with me to sessions if it would be helpful. I'm hopeful I can get in to see someone in the next couple of weeks. I just have to hold it together until then.

I"m sorry BabyA that is definitely all on the other owner and I hope they got the picture with James letting them have it. If you know your dog reacts poorly to other dogs why in the world would you leave them off leash (what i'm going to consider it since they were holding onto the leash he did have) in an area thats so unknown with other animals at any point. Just dumb on their part. Do you guys know which unit they live in and can possibly make a complaint against them, so theres at least something in their file incase of recurrent issues on their lack of animal ownership?

BabyA I'm appalled. And that she asked YOU to go back inside. Hey, you have every right to take your dog out. Frankly, I would complain to the HOA.
