Ok, I have never had a party a place before. Only at my house. So help me figure some things out. Please
If the time options are 12, 2, and 4. What time is best? I actually went to one at 4 and thought it was weird at first, but then I realized I liked it because DD was fed pizza and exhausted from playing. So it was bath and bedtime right after. Thoughts on the time? Is 4 strange? On a Saturday..
Some of the packages include pizza. I assume that's for the kids only. What do I do for the adults? Sandwiches? Fruit? Chicken tender platter?
For some reason every party I have been to here doesn't have a lot of food at it. Where I am used to serving a full meal and always wondering that I won't have enough. Is serving a ton of food at parties a regional thing? It seems like the parties I've been to here just have kiddie food.
I've never done one of these either, but my thinking is doing it at your house gives the freedom of time, so you can do a full meal and not have to worry about going over your time limit, etc. When you're at a playplace you're pretty constrained by time to do food, cake, play, and I'm assuming these are the instances when people don't open gifts because they're too short on time?
Anyhow, I'd probably have it at 2, do the pizza for the kids, and maybe bring a few bags of chips to put out in bowls for the adults to snack on, then maybe a fruit tray to go along with the cake/cupcakes/etc. If I was going to this as a parent, I wouldn't expect a full meal, expecially not at 2:00, so I think that's a safe bet.
I personally think 4:00 is a bit late, and if I went to a party at that time, I might expect a meal (same case for the 12:00 one, since we'd likely need to leave before lunch to be there on time).

We just did open gym at a gymnastic studio from 330-5 yesterday and it was awesome. No kid needs a nap at that time and by the time you come home a kid is unwinding. It made dd crash early last night which was nice. I'd go for the later slot. Can you bring in outside food? I would do sandwiches, a large salad and meat/cheese platter for adults.
