Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
1. Where are you in your journey?: TTC #2 since 3/2014. First medicated cycle (TI only due to travel and work), looks like 2dpo.
2. Testing this week?: Nope, I'm officially done with OPKs this cycle, and obvs no HPTs yet.
3. Thoughts? Concerns?: I had the craziest strong ovulation pains! The RE gave me 3x the normal Femara (Letrozole) dose because of my DOR diagnosis, and we opted not to do an ultrasound due to the work schedule things (but he didn't think it was necessary anyway), so I have no idea how many eggs I may have popped out. My temp rise was about 1.2 degrees, which is way more than normal.
4. Favorite Spring activity/event?: NOT time change, that's for sure! I always used to like Easter, but now that my sister and her family don't come to my parents' house, it's pretty boring.

I might test this week. I blew through most of my wondfos and only have one frer left. I don't want to buy more. I have gotten an early positive before, so it is tempting. I should know by next Tuesday since my LP is short. It seems like it has taken forever to get to this point.
No thoughts or concerns right now. I had excellent timing but I just don't feel that this will be the month. No reason other than the probability of concieving each month.
1. TTC #3 ... took Mirena out in January. Stopped using condoms last month. So I guess this would be cycle two. We were going for a relaxed approach- but i don't seem to be good at "relaxing" 2. not testing this week. Currently on cycle day three. 3. Hoping I can chill out a bit. I tend to get worked up and want to test a few days after ovulation. I want to try and let myself enjoy trying, especially since this will be our last baby. 4. Playing outside with the kids, going for bike rides, working in the yard.
1. Where are you in your journey?: TTCing since Oct'12, 3 losses, CD 32, 11 DPO
2. Testing this week?: I might if I'm late. We had ok timing (only on O).
3. Thoughts? Concerns?: none at the moment. I might change my mind after my appointment with my RE tomorrow.
4. Favorite Spring activity/event?: we have an awesome Reaissance festival (this weekend). We love going and getting a huge turkey leg and just people watch. Plus they have jousting.
1. TTCAL cycle 6, 3dpo 2. Nope 3. Already kinda covered in the Monday musings thread. Today I realized yesterday was my EDD and it didn't even cross my mind. I'm in a better place than I've been in several months. 4. Planning/planting my garden.

scm1011 yes you o 12-24 hours after + opk it's not a bad idea 1. Ttc since June '13 ttcal cycle 6 cd 17 +opk today 2. No 3. Still unsure what to do for our next steps now that all of our test results are in 4. Flowers (minus the pollen) camping!
1. TTC#3, I guess this is probably our 4th official cycle?, I'm on CD4
2. Nope. I'll start up with OPKs early next week
3. I'm so, so, so hoping this is our month. I'd love a little Christmas babe and the timing of my maternity leave would be so, so perfect. H and I even discussed me taking a trip with the baby down to visit a friend in Arizona during my 12 weeks off - just a little getaway for a few days. I have an appointment with my doc on the 13th to discuss IUI/interventions but I'm hoping I don't need that appointment because I'll get a BFP instead.
4. BASEBALL! Also, planting flowers/veggies with my girls and eating dinner outside every night.

TtC#2 cycle 8 CD27
If my period isn't here by Thurs I'll test. Our timing was good but frequency not so much and my boobs stopped hurting today so I'm guessing AF shows tomorrow right on time.
I can't wait to eat dinner on our deck again - a nightly occursnce when it's nice out.
3. I have my second monitoring appointment on Thursday. We'll see how I'm responding to the stims. Hopefully I have a good amount of follies. I am pretty bloated right now, though, and my lower back is hurting. Not sure if its because of AF or response to the meds.

1. Where are you in your journey?: Trying since Nov. 2013; planning IUI#2 this cycle. Finishing clomid tomorrow and monitoring next week.
2. Testing this week?: Will start OPKs Thursday or Friday
3. Thoughts? Concerns?: I've been really trying to remove TTC stress from my life. I'm not temping this cycle, trying not to think about it, etc. I'm just doing whatever I feel like and it's nice.
4. Favorite Spring activity/event?: Baseball games, we have a AAA park really close to us. And my hometown has a HUUUUGE antique fair in the spring that's basically just like a giant festival -- BYOB while I shop for antiques, Yes please!
1. Where are you in your journey?: Trying since January 2014. CD 18.
2. Testing this week?: No
3. Thoughts? Concerns?: This month has been kind of a mess for me TTC-wise. My doctor wanted me to temp to verify O with temp and OPK. I forgot my thermometer at home when we went on vacation, so I didn't start temping until CD14. I got a + OPK CD 15. My temps are weird but I don't know if that's because of where I started my chart or because my body is doing weird stuff. I hate this process.
4. Favorite Spring activity/event?: Baseball, walks with my dog outside, grilling, planting my veggie garden
2. Got a positive OPK yesterday morning. How long after a + do you ladies BD? Is it worth it to BD again tonight? I had a neg OPK this morning.
3. n/a
4. My favorite spring activity is definitely running outside, especially after the epic winter we had in Boston this year. It was still only 35-40* today, but I just got back from a run in capris and short sleeves and that felt amazing!
I usually try for the day before he positive, tracking it as it gets darker, and the day of. This cycle, we also added 2 days after, since the day after wasn't a possibility due to hockey. Hopefully we weren't too late, but I figured it doesn't hurt!

Until I have a temp shift.
In the two months I was using opks before, I had two days of positive, a negative, and then ovulation. This cycle, I had almost positive, positive, negative/ovulation. Before, I was stopping too early and the sperm weren't making it. I found temping and opks to be the best for determining the optimal days.
Women have different timeframes. Some can ovulate the day of a positive opk. Others don't ovulate for a few more days. I saw something that recommended the day of the positive opk and two more days.
2. Testing this week?: I'm already spotting, so just waiting for CD1 any day now.
3. Thoughts? Concerns?: I'm considering acupuncture. I kind of want to try that before traditional medicine routes. Is that weird? I'm already so hormonally/emotionally out of balance that the idea of taking Clomid scares me.
4. Favorite Spring activity/event?: It's festival season!

1. Where are you in your journey?: Cycle 22, 14 dpo/IUI
2. Testing this week?: yes, tomorrow I can take a HPT if no AF
3. Thoughts? Concerns?: I am obvious anxious about my firt IUI. AF should arrive tomorrow if the IUI didn't work. I am either going to test tomorrow or Friday (depending if AF shows up or not)
4. Favorite Spring activity/event?: I just like being outside. Running, planting the garden, cleaning the yard up.
