Baby Jack Martin made his debut at 4:54 am after 22 hours of labor. He is 8 pounds, 3 oz., and 21 inches long. He didn't make it on his daddy's birthday, but I'm glad since we'll have two days to celebrate!
Of course, I was NOT glad while in labor. The pitocin was no joke and the epidural didn't touch the tailbone pressure that I had throughout labor. My dad took a video of me telling my brothers to make sure their wives know to use a surrogate or adopt because I do not recommend labor. Then during pushing, I kept vomiting relentlessly for about an hour or two. So attractive! But now that my little man is here, I am already so completely and totally in love, that the pain is already hazy.
He has a DIMPLE. And he has some hair and he is instantly soothed whenever he is cuddled on my chest. I just love him so much my heart feels like it will explode. He is in the nursery right now getting a bath and I can't wait to snuggle him when he gets back.
AWwwww, so happy for you! Ugh, I am so afraid of labor! Good to know the memory fades quickly and it is so worth it when you have that baby snuggled on you. Congrats!!!

Congrats! He is such a cutie!
Can I also say that my most awesomest Great Uncle is named Jack Martin (first and last) and he was a wild child in his younger days and remains an absolute hoot and he's into his 70s! Good luck with this one! I absolutely love the name!

It's pretty amazing how the labor memories go away so quickly when you see they're squishy faces! Congrats on your new man, and hope you're snuggling once again!
