I just got back from lunch with my old coworkers. It was nice, but overpriced.
I also found out that one of the women I had regular contact with passed away a few weeks ago. We weren't super close, but it was still weird to find out.
Our landlord disconnected our stove this morning since the new one is being delivered tomorrow. Now I need to figure out how to cook myself dinner tonight. I really don't want to get dinner out but I may have to.
I need to take my car to the car wash really badly. It's totally covered in salt spray and mud. In other news, I just had a giant piece of cheese Danish .
jjwritergirl She is 7 weeks. She has been doing better at night, it was just one of those nights where the longest stretch of sleep I got was 2 hours. That mixed with a 4:30am wake up the morning before and a company dinner for DH's work last night I was just wiped out.
MrsMB I tried calling them and couldn't get anyone today will I be sent home if I show up tomorrow. My boss says it is OK.
I'm so sorry I would have your manager double check with HR....to see if they could put you on "light duty" until the notice comes in. That's the only exception I've seen here.
A Dunkin Donuts opened up right next to one of my favorite/regular hotels! Yessss.
I was trying to figure out all day how/when I got salty snow goop on my shiny black ballet flats. Finally just realized that it's actually spit up. OMG LOL. I hope no one noticed.

I had basically all afternoon to wander Philly today. Normally, exploring and checking things out on my own time (for a few hours, nothing crazy) is right up my alley. For some reason, being alone today really got to me. I didn't enjoy it at all. I ended up back in the hotel lobby reading a book.

Ahh I totally would have road tripped it to Philly today if I knew you were there!

I forgot you had Philly roots! Boo. Next time! Well, I continue to be annoyed with this trip. My flight got cancelled so now I'm living it up at an airport hotel.

Boo, cancelled flights suck
But yeah my brother & SIL are in the west Philly suburbs, I could always go crash there
I just found out today that my advisor left the department in JANUARY and that I have a new advisor. It's almost APRIL and I am supposed to graduate at the end of THIS summer. This is unbelievable to me that there was no notification at all to this information until I emailed the old advisor about summer registration. This better not mess up me graduating on time.

FYI - since the moment I got here the Fresh Prince song has been stuck in my head.
W has classic symptoms of reflux and he was screaming when I left for work It's a different pain cry and it *kills* me. I was trying to hold out until his 4 month appointment but there's no way. I left a message on the nurses' line at the pedi but it's taking everything in me to not call the on-call doctor. Pedis are used to crazy moms, right?
