Planning has started for our company Christmas dinner - it's a big affair. Suggestions on venues? We need something that can hold around 100 people and somewhat fancy. Our last party was at Maximilien at Pike Place but we've certainly outgrown that space.
About 1/2 of the 100 will be flying in which is why we try to keep it downtown.
Places I've looked into: Edgewater Hotel Sorrento Hotel The Arctic Club - date not available Kaspers Catering Loulay for a restaurant buyout Hotel Andra / Lola - renovated and can only host 72 people Palace Ballroom - booked Space Needle

Thanks! I've inquired about quite a few of these tonight. Suddenly the boss was overwhelmed today and mentioned a cruise - so I know I need to step up my game, find a venue and shut that down. I am not flying to Seattle for a buffet dinner on the water in December.

Moz has an event space that they rent out - you could look into that. I don't know that it's "fancy," but it's very sleek and modern. Our students are using it for their end-of-year party.

I've hosted our holiday party at Woodland Park Zoo (not fancy, but it turned out really nice); Chihuly Garden and Glass (their restaurant is a pretty tight fit) and on an Argosy Cruise for the holiday boat parade.
I'm considering the Aquarium for this year...only because we prefer to have an event in conjunction with dinner. I also looked into Willow's Lodge.
MOHAI seems like a good option too, but honestly their customer service is the worst.
