Chocolate chip- classic (the old one with water) Tollhouse recipe, Ghirardelli chips, toasted walnuts, warm from the oven. . . . . . .
Oatmeal raisin- assuming the recipe also had coconut . . .
PB- kind of a meh for me unless it's the flourless kind.
DH and I had lunch at Zoe's the other afternoon, he accidently bought an oatmeal cookie instead of their not-too-shabby chocolate chip. I was not happy.
Peanut butter. Always. Chocolate chip is good, too. Raisins aren't my thing, although I have a sweet tooth and no will power so I'd eat them if you served them. I prefer oatmeal craisin.
Wowed by the results. I have always thought of choc chip as pretty ordinary, uninspiring cookies. They're a clear favorite!
I think it's a comfort/familiarity thing.
I have probably 200 different cookie recipes. I routinely make a lot of different kinds of cookies for parties. Every time I put out a cookie tray, the chocolate chip cookies go first. People just adore chocolate chip cookies. And FWIW, my recipe is the Tollhouse one on the back of Nestle's morsels.
And chocolate chip is my favorite followed by peanut butter then oatmeal without raisins.
