Oh man.... Whew! My weaning ass is sobbing! I'm with you rbp I sobbed my ass off yesterday about that story- I've pretty much had a good cry multiple times this week.

That gives me an amazing perspective on the wonderful life I am able to live with my children. Right now, I am sitting snuggling my baby who has an ear infection after giving him the antibiotics that will help him heal quickly. It's good to realize how incredibly fortunate I am.

Right before I read this, I was reprimanding DS1 for stealing bites of my breakfast. Afterward I was more like, "Eat all my breakfasts! Forever!"

I feel very fortunate for our good health and the fact that we're lucky enough to live in a first world country. That really put things into perspective.

omg the lady breastfeeding is so heartbreaking - I can't help but think what became of her baby when she died. Did he just lay there trying to get mommy to wake up? did he starve to death? did someone rescue him? ugh....
