if it's your husband that you're murdering? I feel like a jury of women might not convict me.
We took DS to the doctor yesterday and she put him on some reflux meds. He gets it in the morning and at night. DH fed him this morning and forgot to give him his medication. His response was, "oh well". I tried to give him some but he spit most of it out because in comparison to the bottle he was getting, the stuff didn't taste good. He was also supposed to take it on an empty stomach so the little he swallowed probably didn't absorb well.
H leaves for work at 1pm and I work nights. I've told him that he needs to start DS's feeding by noon because he's a grazer and it takes him awhile. I've told him this about a million times. What does he do? Start his feeding about 5 minutes before he leaves so I have to finish it. THEN I have a screaming, refluxing kid who cannot be consoled by anything. I didn't want to give more medication because he just had it (sort of) at 10.
I finally break down and try to give him some more Zantac. He drinks it down and passes right out at 3:59pm. I lay him down and my alarm to get up for work goes off at 4:00pm.
Thank you for the offers He ended up apologizing so I didn't kill him. W has been a pretty happy baby since he's been on Zantac so I'm hoping that was one of the last awful days like that.
This is W's "flexing" pic from his visit to the pedi
