Background: I overheat REALLY easily...it started about 4.5 years ago...but it's really a problem. So I drink a TON of water when I'm outside or exercising, but I think I am needing more electrolytes instead of just water--so...which is best? Not really taste wise...but which is actually the best for helping replenish the nutrients you need?
I've heard great things about Nuun hydration tabs, electrolyte tabs you add to your water. I used gatorade and applesauce pouches on my long runs. I don't know if Gu has electrolytes or just glucose, but it makes me shit.
