Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
Leaving for work; will hopefully have a chance to run later.
I fried bacon this morning to make breakfast sandwiches. I figured H would like something more substantial because he does not do cereal / yogurt /or any breakfast normally. Well, come to realize we have no eggs. Boo! At least he was happy with cheese and bacon.
I'm up, taking a rest day today, cause I've got ANOTHER shower to attend at 11:00 and I need to run some errands before I head out.. It is for one of my husband's co-workers, but I'm not sure I will actually know anyone there I justified purchasing new boots yesterday cause Mr. GT told me he was sure I would know tons of folks at the shower.
The windchill isn't supposed to get above 40 til mid afternoon. That means I'm not going to my 4 hour road ride today. Bummed b/c I really need to do some road miles! My road bike is back after 4 weeks in the shop w/major warranty repairs, and I really wanted to ride it! I'll probably mountain bike when it warms up later b/c I also woke up with a headache.
I'm up. I've been up since 5:30. That sucks. I have my alarm set for 6:30 because I'm going for a run with a friend. I am not happy I woke up an hour before my alarm.

I'm up. I want to run today and tomorrow, but it's currently snowing(!!!) and I had a charlie horse in my calf Thursday morning and it still hurts just to walk. :-(
I am. Started my run today got 1.5 miles in and I fell hard on my hip due to tripping on a sidewalk ledge. So I called h to come get me. Guess I will try again tomorrow if my hip feels better. I will try to do some pilates or something later today. H is working today so I am all alone.

I've been up since 5:30 am when my kid got me up, and today's a rest day so I didn't even need to get up early to run.
It's way too cold and windy here for this time of year. My weather app says it feels like 17 degrees at 10:30 am. WTF. It's almost April in DC. It's supposed to be spring! It's been really hard for me to get excited about going for a run outside when it's still so cold. I get positively giddy when the morning low is in the 40s.

ilovecandy, I hope you are okay! Falling is the worst.
I'm up. Ran 9 miles this morning, and it actually felt pretty easy. I have seriously slacked off with my running this cycle, so it was nice to have a good long run.

I think i will be. It just sting and hurts. It was bound to happen eventually with my history of clumsiness. H is all concerned i may have hit my head, though ididn't. I asked him teh same thing like 3 times but mostly because i didn't hear his answer and he doesn't get that so he is all are you sure you didn't hit your head? No H I promise i didn't hit my head so i have no concussion.

I hate the gym where I teach so much right now. I have an hour between the end of spin and starting work at my other job, so my plan was to shower at the gym.
I did not discover that the showers were closed until I what stripped out of my sweaty nasty gym clothes and wrapped all snuggly in my towel.
So I am now back in my sweaty nasty clothes, waiting in line to get breakfast, so I can go to work and shower in the scary, scary locker room to which I have access.
Unfortunately, my house is too far away--if there had been a sign up on the locker room door, i could have made it across town and back.
I was up at 530 to get to my 12K. 19 degrees and snow made for a very cold and slushy Spring Forward race. There was a crapload of "rolling" hills (aka torture) and I'm feeling so proud that I finished only 1 minute and change behind last year's time when there was perfect road conditions.
Yahoo! I just ate a giant lunch and am looking forward to some hot coffee and some couch time.
Just had a delicious brunch! Getting ready to put DD down for a nap and then go for a run. I was going to do a longer one but am kinda sore from lifting yesterday so might just do 5-6.
You guys! 18 at a 9:14 average, and I felt like I could have gone a little faster, but kept with the group. I am so stoked! I am really hoping that 4:00 is in my future.

I am on my way home from our meet up this morning. It was so hot that reginaphalange72 ended up turning back. My friend and I managed 14.5 but it about killed me. I can't wait to plug my Garmin in and see the elevation because it was tough today.
I did my run and we ended up going 5.6 miles at 10:16 average. I PR'd my average for that distance and at the 5k mark. My friend PR'd on distance. She has the speed and I have the endurance so we are a good team. It was a good run. I really like running with someone. I didn't think I'd like it. It's a good motivator. I was pushing her to keep going when she wanted to stop. I was determined to get her a PR.
Wow Mushe! Your training has been so strong. I think you'll be ready to run pretty much whatever you set your mind to.
@taratu - now I'm curious about your weather. Tell me how warm so I can be jealous and grateful at the same time. good job on your miles!
This post is making me so thankful we had a beautiful 30-40 degree day with sun. The wind has been picking up a lot all day and looks wicked tomorrow, but I'm not running tomorrow.

It was 78 and blazing sun. I got burned.
taratru crushed it. That girl is way more badass than she lets on. I was dragging hardcore. Not used to this much heat yet!
