patterns on plus size clothing?
I'm trying to find a fun, floral patterned maxi dress for BIL's outdoor wedding this summer. I know I had posted before about a dress I already own, but it's black/grey and I want something brighter.
Every place I look has the most obnoxious prints on the plus size dresses. Like, I don't mind large prints in general, but they throw every single neon color they can think of on one dress and it looks like the 80s came back in a bad way.
I do have my eye on this dress from the LP/Target collabo.
I was ecstatic to find out most of this stuff is also in plus size. Now I just have to be able to get it before it sells out, and buy a strapless bra, and find a matching short-sleeved cardi to wear over it because I won't wear strapless by itself. But at least it's somewhat positive.
Anyone else find some non-hideous summery plus size maxi dresses?

Did you look at Lane Bryant? Last time I was in there they had several cute bright dresses. I mean, yes, some have ridiculous patterns but some are cute.

I shop at LB a ton! They do have some really cute stuff.
I had looked online for maxi dresses maybe 3 or so weeks ago, and they hardly had any. But maybe it was just too early in the season. I'll have to check back.
That is really pretty! I had really wanted a full-length maxi but I do like that. Would it look silly with flats? I am not really a wedge or heel person.
Dress Barn? Their plus size section is bigger than their standard size section (at least at near me) and they have some really nice stuff.
I do like DB and may go into the store. They didn't have many maxi dresses online, but they had some very pretty cocktail dresses, and I do need one of those for a different wedding.
Do you fit in an XXL at ON? They had dresses starting at $15 last week.
Maybe. I think I have a top in my closet from ON that's an XXL that I do wear, though it's a bit snug. Depending on the fit of the dress, I might be able to. I'll check it out!

I think flat sandals might look nice. A dressy sandal.
I am look at the selection of plus size maternity clothes. :/ It's bleak.
I wore a LOT of non-maternity dresses. I bought ON vintage tees in tall length a size up. I had a few ON maternity shirts in XXL. Their pants/shorts were crap besides yoga pants. I wore capris and shorts from Kohls. I had a few shirts from there too. A few shirts and dresses from Target in XXL. Very few items from JCP bc they ran so so small. This is me at 39w in a non-maternity dress. I had DD 4 days later.
