I love this dress. The wedding is in late August. I'm not sure on the time yet, but the wedding website says to dress formal but comfortable. I don't think she means black tie, more like not casual. But, is this dress too casual? I'd wear it with nude peep toe pumps and try to find something sparkly as a necklace.

We were at the Outlet Collection today for something else and decided to stop into the Dress Barn in there to see if they had this dress. It was in the front display, but all they had was a 4 (on display) and 10s and up. I thought I'd need at least a 6, but I decided to try it on anyway. They must run big because it fit. I should lose some weight before and also get my arms into shape a little bit, but I bought the 4. I took a (bad) pic of me in it when we got home. I have one nude heel and one black heel (these have some sparklies on the top, so if I need to dress it up, I will use these). Anyway, here I am...
(it's really closer to the color on the website photo, the lighting was bad for my photo)
I don't know what the timeline is going to look like, but I know they are planning on having their ceremony outside at a nearby nursery, so I'm guessing it will be day time.

@uwhuskygirl, I like that necklace a lot. I will have to look for something lower cost, but I'm going to use that as inspiration, thank you.
As a follow up, what can I wear if I get cold? I am hoping that I won't need anything...that the weather will be plenty warm for the ceremony and that the reception won't be too severly air conditioned, but what if I DO need something? They had these little white cardis on display with the dress, but that is too casual for sure. I kind of wonder if any cardigan would work, or if I should look into a jacket? I haven't worn a jacket in a brazillion years (yes, that's my new thing - it was on a cartoon Tman was watching and I thought it was hilarious), since the early '90s when they had shoulder pads and gold buttons.
You can also look on Aliexpress (Alibabas - child company, it is like amazon... with reallly long shipping time). They don't ship to washington, but if you put your address in the message to buyer field it should come to you.
Since the wedding is in August you would have time to find and buy. I buy a lot of random things from there, from shoes, necklaces, shirts, hats .... no sex toys though (that whole category used to just pop up under beauty).
