If you have a baby girl, are they wearing shoes? Or will you just do tights or socks?
I have a pink dress a friend gave me and she will probably wear white tights. I can't find any shoes I like though so assuming I should just skip them.

I skipped shoes for the baby stage. I'm really sad I can't skip shoes for the toddler age. Nods only had one pair of shoes and they are play shoes. Our last attempt to buy new ones ended with much crying of "too small" and "doesn't fit". Nods doesn't like shoes and hates trying them on.
If dd needed tights for warmth, I put soft shoes on her. I had a few pair of soft Mary Janes from carters and baby gap that first year. I hate the look of regular tights without shoes, the foot part doesn't lay right at all.
I'm a fan of the thick tights with Mary Jane shoes drawn on. That said I found the Gymboree shoes on Thredup that matched the dress I got C for Easter and I broke down and bought them.
Last Easter they were only 2 months old, and we did dresses with no shoes (or tights or anything).
This year we have silver sandals. And it is so not warm enough for that. But they already wore them their birthday weekend and damn it I'm going to get a 2nd use out of them.
