I sat straight up in bed at 4:47 this morning because I thought I hadn't set my alarm and I was late for my morning run date. ::face palm:: I couldn't go back to sleep so I just laid there until 6 when I finally got up.
I am! I'm doing a 5k. My goal is under :34. Lol! Wish me luck!
Yay! I did it! 31:22! Again, not a best time, but I've been back running now for almost two months and doing a version of couch 2 5k. Can't wait to get faster!

On the treadmill. A new treadmill distance PR for me. I blew my nose about a thousand times (I'm still sick) into a dish towel and drank around 100oz of fluids. What the actual fuck.

Oh I did. And whined. And watched like 4 episodes of One Tree Hill. And walked twice. But I completely missed a high mileage week (including my other 20 miler) from being sick. So not running it was not really an option. And doing it in the crap outside probably would have set me back further in getting back to healthy (and I wanted to be able to bail out if I needed to). It was an ugly, slow, no-incline, snot fest.

I did 18 miles and lost a big toenail this morning. I just spent about an hour cutting the nail down and it's so gross lol. Soaking it and disinfecting and hoping it heals over quickly. I've lost them before but the nail bed looked a little tougher this time.

Nope, we have a treadmill in our basement and I think the most I have done is 10 and I swear I could have run a full marathon outside in the time it took me to run 10 on the dreadmill. There is always something I need; more water, a new dvd, music on the ipod, bathroom stop.
