I've never found mine to be uncomfortable unless it was in wrong. Did you fold it into a 'u' shape when you inserted it and turn it the full way round? Sometimes I have to adjust it a bit if it's not in the proper position.

I don't love my divacup either and will get something else once it's time to replace. I cut the entire stem off and it was still too long and poking out. I turn it inside out and that has made it much better. But I can't run in it because it starts slipping down and feels like it's going to fall out (sorry if that's TMI). I think it's just not the right shape for my body, so I'm trying the luna cup once I replace.

I think they say it should ride "low" in the vagina, but I've found I'm better off inserting it deeper (and even when I don't, it travels there on it's own).
Also....
TMI Warning....
Do you have to poop? Mine is always uncomfortable if I put it in when I need to poop.

Try the Softcup. They make single-use disposables and reusable cups that you use for a whole cycle then replace. Lots of people on the Internet talk about reusing theirs for more than one cycle too.
They sit much higher than Diva cups, up around your cervix so you don't feel it on the vaginal wall like might with the Diva.
I hadn't heard of that one, thanks! I'll definitely check it out!

Yes, and I turn it until I feel like it's vaccumed in there. Lol
Tmi, but is it uncomfortable because of how it feels inside, or because of the end on the outside? If it's the inside I'd guess it isn't inserted properly, and if not I'd say you might just need a different style (like the softcup or moon cup). I find the DC rides very low on me (even after I cut the entire stem off) but it's not too bad.
I feel like I can feel the tip, and if I move, I definitely feel it. It's the same way that tampons are uncomfortable for me now...the riding too low thing seems to explain it the best.
I think I may try one more cycle, and if it doesn't work, move on to the other two you suggested.

I have the lunette. It took me a couple cycles to figure out that it's more comfortable pushed diagonally instead of more vertical. If that makes sense. I think the lunette is a different shape than the diva. I like it.

I also remember it taking 24-48 hours for it to get comfortable the first cycle. Now I don't notice it at all. But it's kind of like wearing a ring on a new finger-- it just irritates me until I get used to it.
There is a learning curve and adjustment period for sure. I'd give it a couple of cycles. I have mine in right now and can't feel it at all (TMI, I know).
Cut off the entire stem. Where do you feel it? At the entrance to your vagina or somewhere else inside?
If I cut off the entire steam, won't I have a problem? Ahem
So my first couple of months, I left a bit of the stem in. It poked but I wanted to get used to removing it. Later I just cut off the stem completely and grasped the base of the cup to remove it. I wish I'd left a bit of the stem ONLY because I completely forget if I have the diva cup in or not
If you are comfortable everywhere else, trim the stem close to the base and once you get the hang of removing it by the base, then you can trim it off completely.
I'm not that angry, I just like to yell. I had cut off the stem of my old one with no issues. I don't use the stem for removal.
I tried to pull on the cup, and apparently that seal is stronger then my pincher abilities.
You have to rotate and break the seal and then pull it out. Grasp the base, rotate, you'll feel the cup releasing, then pull it out with a whoosh. Bam, no spilling, no mess.

Well, I don't have a super tight vagina now, do I?
I have one and can only use it starting on about day 3 of my cycle: I am assuming that it is because my uterus is tilted, and when my period starts it is in a position that makes it impossible to use. So at first I use a tampon, and after a couple of days it works great from there on out.
I just got mine, and it is uncomfortable. I clipped the end, but it's still annoying. Do I have a defective vagina?
This was my exact experience with the DC. I cut the stem and everything and that didn't help. I could feel it while it was inside and I just couldn't stand it's. I did a little more research and ended up buying the MoonCup (UK) and that fit perfectly. It is shorter and more bendable. I have used it fit over two years and haven't looked back. LOVE it!!!
