I have been away for a bit, but i know a lot of you follow me on instagram, so this is a repeat for you guys.
I am actually doing this weight loss thing. Something definitely clicked. Since January 1st, i have lost 33.7 pounds. No crazy fad diet, no pyramid scheme plan, but the old fashioned way. Just exercising and eating sensibly.
I am starting to see that i am actually doing it, and realize that it's been 3 months. Not a crazy long time, but long for ME, and it has become routine. At least 5 miles of walking everyday. I felt awful today, as my allergies were insane. I had 468 steps by dinner...not even a half a mile. I told myself that I didn't care that I was tired and not feeling well. I got up and walked 5 mikes. Now actually thinking about it and looking back, I have accomplished a lot in a short time. The old me would have just chalked things up to a sick day. The new me pushed myself. Disclaimer: I'm not sick sick, it's just bad allergies
Anyway, I just wanted to share how proud I was of myself.

I love you guys, and have missed this place. ❤️❤️❤️ This fit bit has been amazing, and seen my progress in graphs charts and data has been amazing. I don't know that I could've done this without the fit bit, only because i see the numbers.
I told myself that the beginning I cannot control the scale. There are two things I can control and the rest I need to not worry about. I can control what i eat, and I can control exercise. I said there's no magic formula just 10,000 steps today. It's not some number that I can't understand like an estimate of calorie burn. It is a simple number that comes up on the app. I'm either there or I'm not. So I said, if I make sure I'm hitting that number daily, the weight will eventually fall off. Of course it didn't start off at 10,000.
I still eat real food, and i still have sweet treats, but it's all within reason. But I'm also nourishing my body with lots of fruits and vegetables. Green smoothies are part of my daily grind. It just really works for me.
I really wish I took more pictures, and took measurements at the beginning. I need to start.
