That's cool. I didn't know they had sets like that. Not weird. Everyone has hobbies and you're not one of those grown guys who is into My Little Pony. That's my hobby measuring stick. So you're good.

H's pickup line on our second date was "wanna come over and see my legos?" Lol. Not weird. I got really into them! I like following instructions. My favorite was the green grocer.
I haven't put them together in years, but when H & I were dating I did. He bought one of those $100 Star Wars sets. Then he decided to go to a movie while I stayed at his apartment (we were long distance). He was torn when he got home and I had finished the whole thing. Part of him knew I was "a keeper" and part of him was mad that I beat him to it.
I've got two boys and huge tubs of Legos from when my H was younger. Aside from the pain of stepping on those suckers, I can't wait until they're both big enough to enjoy them!

I bought the entire Harry Potter series for myself. Hogwarts took pride of place on my dining room table for 2 months after I assembled it. I did tell my then 7 year old "these are mommy's legos, don't touch." I let him help with some of the smaller sets, but Hogwarts was above his skill level so I did it at night when he was asleep.
Not weird. I think DH is rooting for team blue just so that he can play with Legos. I haven't pointed out to him yet how many Legos I possessed myself as a kid. I can't wait to get to that age.
Personally I find them extremely frustrating. I don't think there's enough contrast in the colors in the instructions for me sometimes. But I have friends who every year have a grown-up Lego building party. So, not weird:)
