F: does blowing my nose 6 million times and coughing incessantly for hours count as a core workout? S: repeat Friday's workout S: 13 miles followed by more 'core work'
Sorry that sounds so whiny! I am almost never sick and apparently, I get man cold whiny/helpless when I do... I pledge to be my normal upbeat sled in the morning

Friday: 5 miles race pace Saturday: 2 easy going miles Sunday: Half Marathon day! It was so cold at the start (a whopping 26 degrees). I PR and finally got the sub-2:00 time I was dreaming of. I finished in 1:56:21. I seriously didn't think it would happen because cold weather and asthma has not worked out well for me recently.

F: Rest S: 10 mile run Su: Easy cross-training - 1 minute circuits with the kids. I let them choose the exercises so we did pushups, jumping jacks, squat jumps, skaters, burpees, and jumping while turning around in a circle. Good times.
F: 4.5 chasing the fast guys Sat: 18 at 9:14! It felt so great Sun: Rest, rolling, and chasing a 3 year old. I took him to an open house, and I swear he went up and down the stairs at least a dozen times.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

I ran the Austin 10/20 race yesterday. And I managed to survive it and the rest of the day without getting a migraine. I think I've figured out that I need protein immediately after races. Went and got brunch solo bc dh just couldn't wrangle ds up quick enough and loaded up on eggs, bacon, sausage. And was fine. Did feel a slight headache coming on at about 5 and took an Aleeve and it went away. Which usually once it hits Aleeve and Immitrex can't touch.
Eta: and I totally posted the pic with the chic behind me fishing her thong out of her ass on purpose. Figured it would be a good Monday funny. Ha. Happy Monday!
I ran with a friend on Saturday and we both got PRs. I got a PR on my 5k time and also on my 5 mile and she PR'd her distance. I really thought I would dislike running with others based on past experiences (running in formation) but I actually enjoy it.
