We going over Spring break next week. My 8 yr old ds has never been. Do we need two days to do both parks? We really want to see the Harry Potter stuff. Just trying to decide between 1 day or 2 day passes. Thanks for any insight!
Yes! If your priority is Harry Potter than you want to see both parks. They are both equally amazing! I just went with my sister. We focused mainly on HP stuff and had a blast. The Hogwarts express is really neat as well.
Agree with PP's - I don't think it would be possible to really see enough of both parks in one day. If your son is a Harry Potter fan at all (or you are), he/you will love it! I'm not much of a fan but HP World was absolutely the highlight of Universal for me; it's awesome. Your son is the perfect age for it too.

Thanks all! He is in the middle of reading the books - on book 4 now. So he should love it!

Agree with the others about going to one park a day. The parks will probably be very busy; I believe spring break is one of the busiest times of the year for Universal.
My H and I just went in February! We did two days. The first day we did all things Harry Potter (both parks and the train). The second day we did the rest of the two parks.
