1. How far along are you this week? 27w5d
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? Glucose test and rhogam shot this week woo hoo. Sending out my shower invites too
3. Who on the board is closest to your due date? Check out the due date list, first sticky post if you haven't yet. speyedr is due the day after me-labor buddies ha!
4. How close is the hospital you plan to deliver at to your house? How long will the drive take you when the time comes? It is about a 15 minute drive without traffic maybe 25 with. So not too bad, and it will be summer so I won't have to worry about crummy weather which is nice.
1. How far along are you this week? 6 weeks 3 days.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? We shared the news with my family this weekend and got their reaction on video. It was so sweet. My niece, who is 4, is so excited! I'm still feeling super anxious about my lack of symptoms, though.
3. Who on the board is closest to your due date? Check out the due date list, first sticky post if you haven't yet. inara is due about a week after me!
4. How close is the hospital you plan to deliver at to your house? How long will the drive take you when the time comes? It's about 10 miles away. If it is early enough on a weekend morning, it will take about 15-20 minutes. With regular traffic, 30-40.
2. Fighting the worst flu of life. Today is my first day back to work, and I've already thrown up in my garbage bucket and gotten the spins while on duty.
1. 27+4 2. Passed my gtt the end of last week, have an appt today and start every two week appts from here. 2.kellsbelles is due the day before me! Fun fact: my EDD is my 6th wedding anni! 3. About 4 or 5 miles and 10 mins tops in traffic. We only have one hospital that delivers babies where I live, but thats changing next spring when the hospital I work for opens a brand new hospital, which is even closer to me than the other.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week?
3. Who on the board is closest to your due date? Check out the due date list, first sticky post if you haven't yet.
4. How close is the hospital you plan to deliver at to your house? How long will the drive take you when the time comes?
1. 14w4d
2. My Panorama test results showed an elevated risk for DiGeorge Syndrome. What should have been 1/2000+ chance of baby having it ended up being 1/19 chance of having it. So, the good news is that baby has a ~95% chance of not having it. The bad news is that ~5% is still more the I'm comfortable with so I will have an amnio in a few weeks to confirm. I did not hesitate to tell my OB that I wanted the amnio because I had one during my other pregnancy too when quad screen results came back elevated for something else, so I know what to expect and I have no regrets getting it done last time because I am one of those people who must know everything I can. Except the baby's sex, lol. Still Team Green despite the OB almost slipping up twice.
3. nachos and I share a due date, as she mentioned already! I'm sure she'll give birth before me since I'm expecting to go into October again like I did last time (last EDD was 9/19, DD was born 10/1).
4. About a 20-minute drive. I live in NYC but my borough is the smallest and unless I want to cross a bridge, I'm limited to two hospitals for delivery here. I'm delivering at the same hospital I delivered at last time. My hospital is slightly closer to us than the other hospital but I would have considered the other hospital if there were reasons to pick that one.
1. How far along are you this week? 23w5d - viability this week!
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? My mom told me that I look big for how far along I am and that I'm going to be really uncomfortable in a couple of months. Gee, thanks. But then she also said that I've only gained weight in my stomach and that I don't look pregnant from behind and that I still have a waist. And she said that my belly looked like the mannequin's belly at Old Navy and that I could be a pregnancy model. So I guess overall it was a compliment?
3. Who on the board is closest to your due date? Check out the due date list, first sticky post if you haven't yet. lizz is my due date twin!
4. How close is the hospital you plan to deliver at to your house? How long will the drive take you when the time comes? I think it's 5-6 miles. The times we have gone for ultrasounds, it's taken us about 15 minutes or so, but we've always gone in the mornings and I swear there are at least 5 schools between our house and the hospital, so it takes forever getting through the school zones.

4. How close is the hospital you plan to deliver at to your house? How long will the drive take you when the time comes? The hospital is about 10 km (~ 6 miles). Time wise it could take anywhere between 5-20 minutes depending on time of day and traffic. I still haven't totally decided where I'm going to give birth. If I am a candidate for home birth, my midwives have a "choose in labour" option where we'd prepare for both a home and hospital birth and then I'd decide. I'm leaning more towards labouring at home as long as possible and then heading to the hospital for delivery only. We'll see.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week?
I didn't quite have this level of symptoms with my first pregnancy, so while I'm thankful for them, they are no joke.
3. Who on the board is closest to your due date? Check out the due date list, first sticky post if you haven't yet.
I'm not sure... I'm pretty new still. Looks like suzv !
4. How close is the hospital you plan to deliver at to your house? How long will the drive take you when the time comes?
Where we live, there is a large insurance stand off between the major hospital organization in our region and our insurance. My OB and delivering hospital are in a town about 45-50 minutes away. Otherwise, it would be 20-25. Even if things get figured out, we will still plan to go to the 45-50 minute away hospital because my OB doesn't have delivering rights in the closer one. One of my good friends is an delivery nurse at the closer hospital. I would love to have her close, so I'm bummed from that regard.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week?
Migraines and headaches will be the certain death of me. Otherwise, I feel great! LOL Even got a little bump going on already. :-)
3. Who on the board is closest to your due date? Check out the due date list, first sticky post if you haven't yet.

It's about 30-35 minutes. It's an easy drive, but during rush hour there is a part of that commute that can be rough. So, hopefully I go into labor in the middle of the day or middle of the night or something. Ha!

2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? We had our shower over the weekend and it was *wonderful*! I can't believe how generous our friends and family were. It was so much fun! My sister hosted it at our house and made all these adorable things. Her presents were my favorite: a handmade quilt, diaper basket, and bobby cover that all match for the nursery and are beautiful! She also made a bunch of onsies and a swaddle blanket. It was so sweet! She stayed the weekend and on Sunday she helped me organize everythign and get the nursery set up. I don't know what I'd do without her help! I need to think of some way to thank her for everythign she's doing for me.

4. How close is the hospital you plan to deliver at to your house? How long will the drive take you when the time comes? Our hospital is a 25 min drive with no traffic, but in the morning rush hour it could easily be over an hour. I'm hoping we won't have any issues getting there when I'm in labor!
cats Are you in southwest PA? There is a similar issue with the insurance and hospital here too. I have different insurance so luckily I'm not affected by it.

Nope... We're in the midwest.
It's frustrating to say the least! We've found a phenomenal practice on the neighboring town though. I had my D&C there this past fall and was pleased with the care.
