Not a chance. Dd1 is 8 and LOVES thrill rides of any kind, it's funny because she's a little timid so it's not something I ever expected out of her, but she'd literally ride anything we let her that she's tall enough for, and keep her hands in the air the whole time. She did not get that from me or DH

Definitely. But I loved all rides. Except for the roller coasters that go forward and then backwards, because those always hurt my neck when they stop abruptly.
It doesn't look scary in this photo but all you have is a little lap bar. I thought I was going to fly right out. LOL.
The two newish rides at Canada's Wonderland have only these little plastic lap bars; nothing like a 306 foot drop at an 80 degree angle going about 90 mph with only the bar between you and death, lol. You literally float up off the seat. I almost shit myself the first time we rode it, lol, but I ended up riding it like, ten more times.
Yes. You can spin me as high and as fast as you want, but I can't take sudden drops at all. There's a road near my parents house with a weird little dip that makes me going over it too fast.

Yes! I love thrill rides. I'm not sure I'd call this one a thrill ride, but I've been on a similar one. It's fun. Also, my 4 year old DS has been on a kid size one and loved it.

See, I'm scared of heights too and I can do most rides.
I even did the one that shoots you up in the air in Vegas. (I did not, however, do the one that dangles you over the side of the building.) And I've been skydiving three times.
But I cannot do things like the glass platform in the Sears Tower, dinner in the Sky in Montreal, or bungee jumping. If I have too much time to think about it or I'm not preoccupied enough with what's going on around me, it's not going to happen.
ETA - And another FUCK NO was that gondola hotel room.
