I had a meeting across the country this weekend. I literally knitted the entire way on the plane, and got the leg of my second sock done. And then...nothing. I was so busy all weekend that I got maybe a handful of rows done.
There were still slots left, so I knitted the whole way back home last night. By the time we landed I still had to graft the toe. I did it as I sat at baggage claim. And I snagged the second to last open spot on my team.
I love my socks. Love. They made my wrists and shoulders scream, but they were so worth it.
Yours look great! I was at the gussets when I noticed I'd botched a cable on the first row 3. Ripped back before I knew honest mistakes were sometimes OK. I'm only just now back to the gussets. Very much doubt I'll get one of the last few spots.
Those are beautiful! Probably my favorite so far, though I'm also partial to how cool and different the ones with zippers were (though I think you said they were uncomfortable--sad).
Not uncomfortable! I've happily worn them with no issues

Oh boo. I hope you make it. I always check in with the mods and designer re: mistakes. It can go either way. Can't wait to see the finished product!

Pretty! Those are some seriously cabled socks. I love knitting on planes! I finished a pair of fingerless gloves on my last trip. My next door seatmates are always shocked that my skinny stabby metal needles are allowed on planes.
