Tell me positive stories of bleeding during early pregnancy

I got a BFP on two tests (FRER and $ store) yesterday morning, but I've been bleeding (light, bright red) since Saturday night (started after intercourse). I POAS this morning and the line isn't darker (there is a shadow of a line, but I think it's the test strip). I am rationalizing that by telling myself I drank quite a bit Saturday night, so my urine was likely more concentrated yesterday morning than this morning. I am 14 DPO.

I've been spotting for 8 days, but yesterday and today it's been worse. It isn't as heavy as my period, though.

I'm going to the doctor this afternoon and will get some blood work done. I had a chemical pregnancy 2 cycles ago and am nervous. I just needed to dump this all somewhere.

Good vibes and/or positive stories are appreciated.

I bled for the first 20 weeks with K. Turned out I had a cervical polyp that didn't like when H and I had sex.

I bled a little bit for the first few weeks with this one too.

Bleeding in early pregnancy isn't uncommon.

I wish you all the best! I had bleeding, with clots and bright red blood, early in pg and I delivered a very healthy baby. I hope the best for you - my guess would be that the sex has a lot to do with what's going on right now. Good luck at your appointment!

Congrats and I'm sorry you're worried. The first trimester is hard.

It's pretty common for women to bleed around when their period is due or spot.

I had light bright red bleeding with my first for two days. I was told I had a subchronic hemmorage (something like that). Baby was fine. I also had spotting with my third for a week and a half.

I hope everything turns out ok. Keep us posted.

I had several instances of pretty heavy bleeding with DS that turned out to be a good sized SCH draining. Harmless, but fucking terrifying at the time.

I actually thought I had started my period the day before my bfp. I had spotting on and off (red and brown) during my first tri.

Hugs - it's very scary.

Ugh. So nerve wracking. I'm sorry. I bled huge clots from week 10 to 18. Turns out I had a sub chorionic hemorrhage. It was horrifying, by we celebrated ds2's birthday yesterday, so ultimate, everything was fine.

I had bleeding at 9 weeks along. It was an SCH. I hear that bleeding after sex is pretty common.

I know it is so scary but it could be nothing serious.

I thought I had my period. I bled for the first few weeks, then off and on throughout my pregnancy. I know it's scary. Try to stay positive. Sending you good vibes!

yes, me...with this pregnancy, twice. The first was A LOT of bright red blood over the course of an evening. The 2nd was several days of dark brown stringy tissue-like stuff several weeks later. I'm still pregnant!

I did have a miscarriage before and had no bleeding at all when I did.

Thanks everyone. My doctor wasn't in today, but the one I saw did an exam and sent me for blood work. He didn't feel anything abnormal.

He suggested I stop breastfeeding if this is a viable pregnancy/we are TTC.

I should have the results from the blood work tomorrow.

I had light spotting, very low progesterone ultimately (6.9) took supplements and am holding my 6 week old baby.

I've told these stories before -

1. First pregnancy I had every symptom in the book. I was pregnant with twins. I never bled but the pregnancy wasn't viable. I m/c and was sick up until the day of my d&c.

2. Second pregnancy I bled from pretty much 9 weeks on. It ranged from spotting to near hemorrhaging. There were various reasons why - first a sch, then a bad uti, then complete placenta previa. This pregnancy was viable and my ds is now 4 months.
