As mentioned in the recent purchases thread, I just got tickets to go to red rocks in the summer. I'm so so excited. We are flying out on a Thursday morning and leaving Sunday. The concert is Thursday night and I haven't made any other plans yet. Should we try to catch a baseball game? Anything else you could recommend (besides the obv, we will definitely be doing that)?
What do you like to do while traveling? Food, hiking, site-seeing, bar hopping, lounging?
Food for sure! Probably no hiking but I don't mind walking a lot. Would love to find a great brunch place where we could hang for a couple of hours if that exists! I'm pretty open to anything!

Denver knows how to brunch, so no worries on that! The Lobby, Lucille's Creole, and Denver Biscuit Company are my favorites. I've heard good things about Dazzle and Linger. Avoid Snooze unless you want to wait an ungodly amount of time for a table.
We have a ton of sports teams in the summer- baseball, soccer, rugby, and outdoor lacrosse. There should be at least one game going while you're here. Almost every weekend in the summer, there is some kind of festival or event. Day drinking is probably the #1 pastime.

I second Lucille's and Denver Biscuit Company. I also had a really yummy brunch at Beast+Bottle a month or so ago.
If you'll have a car you could make a day trip to Boulder. The Pearl St. Mall is fun to walk around and there are tons of great places to eat up there too.
Dazzle has an awesome Sunday brunch with live Jazz music. Sassafras is one of our favorite breakfast/brunch places. I second Boulder (hit up Pearl St as well as chautauqua park for beautiful views). There's lots of great breweries near town. We also like to take people to the free tour at Stranahans Whiskey (free whiskey at the end!). I'd definitely do a Rockies game, too. Have fun!
