He's like a wee pirate. The front tooth didn't crack down to the nerve, so they don't HAVE to yank it, but because doing any work on the tooth will involve anesthesia and would be purely cosmetic and he's still so little, it's not going to happen. Plus the tooth may just fall out. I have to learn to love it.
How old is he? How much tooth is left? Henry was 21 months and then 2.5 when he had his front tooth done (he had it done twice). It was strongly recommended that we fix it so as to not interfere with speech.
Awwww I'm sorry. If the tooth stays and it really bothers you, they can do a composite build up but it won't last.
Having said that - He looks SOOOOOOOOOO adorable and cute. Just see that they smoothen the rough edges, so they don't tear his tongue/lip.
They did that today. I was hoping for some build up/fill in/whatever. But if it's only for vanity reasons, I can't justify having him put under. When he's a little older he might be able to sit for longer so maybe we'll take care of it then.

Awww he's still pretty darn cute! I think the wait and see approach is best. You aren't going to want to spend money building up a tooth that may fall out in the short term.

He's adorable! I was going to say the same thing as sequins but I see they smoothed it out already. (my kid sucks his thumb and my first thought was that will tear up his thumb!)
Awww...he's adorable with or without perfect teeth! I know the feeling though. My DD4 has mild enamel hypoplasia on her 2 front teeth. It makes them look chipped---they came in that way & I ran to the dentist within a couple days. The dentist filled/built them up once at like 18mo but it'd had worn off already by 2-3mo later. Soooo...I'm just living with it until it falls out. She's still cute even if her teeth aren't perfect.
