How can they get away with that drop off with no railing or steps? Why is the toilet next to the door with no barrier? Why is there a pass through to no where? Why so many different styles of lights? I have so many questions!!!

The answer to all of these could be they needed to hire a damn architect! But, my guess are: How can they get away with that drop off with no railing or steps? Commercial code is if you can fall 30" or more you need a railing. I think Rez is the same here.
Why is the toilet next to the door with no barrier? Because in a loft oversized bathroom= luxury? It looks ridiculous.
Why is there a pass through to no where? My guess is the blue room is a bedroom. Bedrooms per code need natural light, so the put in that opening and the wall doesn't run all the way to the ceiling. It's a horrible layout. Put the kitchen in the back and the bedroom at the exterior window wall!
