Bitch only talks about how her baby won't sleep. I'm reaching, I don't care, I'm tired.
I got Viv to take a nap in her crib today and you should have seen the silent parade I lead around my living room! Anyway, she finally fell asleep on her stomach which she usually refuses, but she wants to sleep with her face down into the mattress. I have to move her head to the side a few times to get her to keep it there- I'm not sure if she would do that herself.
I'm not sure if I feel comfortable putting her on her belly to sleep all night if she wants to sleep face down, but then again, sleeeeeeep. She can roll over on her own, she gets up on hands and knees, she can sit on her own- she's obviously strong enough to move her neck, I'm just not sure if she wants to!
Wwyd?
Also, wtf? How is sleeping face down comfortable?? You make no sense, tiny adorable human!
The minute DS learned to roll he began sleeping on his stomach. Everything I've read and everybody says it's fine once they can roll on their own. Yay for sleep!
Both my kids slept on their belly. I didn't care. I needed sleep and so did they. I had a small fan in their room. No crib bumpers or blankets and that's all I personally needed to feel comfortable. Do what works for you.
E is 6.5 months. He rolls & sits, and has been sleeping on his belly for 4 nights.. Lol. (We started letting him cry last Thursday.) He's been doing great!

If she can roll over, she's fine to sleep on her belly. It made me feel better to lay DS down on his back but he always immediately rolled into his belly. He still sleeps on his belly most of the time. Get that sleep any way you can!!

When my DS started sleeping on his stomach it terrified me because he would sleep with his face squished into the mattress like your Viv. The first night I kept turning his face but he would go right back to that position. I finally gave up, and he's been a happy stomach sleeper ever since. I say let her be and enjoy your sleep!
