klp02 Lily was similar with eating. Her worst week was week 12 and then she started improving so hopefully you are at the peak. The ways I would get her to nurse were to hold her at and angle (head above hips), start feeding her before she was 100% awake, bounce on the yoga ball and feed her (she loved that ball) and lastly give her the paci when she started fussing, hold her on my shoulder till she calmed down and slowly replace the paci with nursing (or a bottle nipple for you). This last one worked when she refused to eat at all. Also white noise helped.
I am so sorry you're going through this with your sweet girl. I know how frustrating and heartbreaking it is to hear the screaming and be clawed at during feeds. (This is why I'm so anxious about it this time). I've been thinking about you guys lately because I noticed your posts. Please let me know if you need support, I'm here for you and understand. Get the book "colic solved" as well, it really helped me. Hugs.
Thanks! I tried the pacifier trick and it worked! She actually ate two and a half ounces. I will look into that book too.
ladybug - we think 17 pounds. Will know the official stats at his appointment next week. He hasn't been eating very well today. It makes me worried (and I know it's ridiculous)

Rhys is 17lbs I get so stressed when they don't eat well. It just happened to Rhys the other day too but then he was back to normal shortly after. I just try to remind myself they go through hungry phases and they aren't going to starve!
1. 2 months! 2. He is doing very well. He adores her and always wants to hug her. 3. Things are getting better, but she has reflux and a milk intolerance, so it's not as easy as the first time around. 4. Things are starting to get better. My vagina still isn't back to where it should be and I still have 15 lbs to lose, but it's slowly coming off. My emotional state depends on my sleep and her mood.
