Newborn photographer rec?

I'm thinking it might be nice to splurge on newborn photography when our baby is born. I think I'd prefer someone who would come to our house and ideally get a CD of images. Anyone have a newborn photographer to recommend? Any idea how much they usually charge? Thx!

We used Kerry Goodwin who is from Peabody, she came to our apt when the kids were 10 days old for a few hours. She was super patient and did a really nice job. It was $450 for the session and included the rights to all the pics. I looked around a lot because so many of the newborn photographers in the area were $$$$, and this was one of the better prices I could find but still good quality. I have a bunch of them on FB if you want to take a look.

We used Jessie Clicks. She's based out of Littleton, and while we chose to go to her studio, she will come to your house for an additional $50 fee.  She is amazing with babies, and we've used her for several family photo sessions as well (see the pic of DS3 in my siggy).  I can't say enough good things about her!

No Rec's as I don't live in this area. Just be sure if you're having the photographer come to your place that you have a well lit area where natural light comes in. Some do natural light while others need to bring lighting equipment etc. Just something to consider when looking at photographers coming to your home.

She is based in Watertown. She came to our house and did a fantastic job with natural lighting. She asked what time of day was our baby happiest (late morning) and we scheduled our shoot for that timeframe.
