To make sure it's not too flat in the back and that his brains are normal :/. Anyone else do this before? We're going to a hospital with a pediatric X-ray. Idk much about this area of baby growth issues.

Ultrasound, X-ray, CT scan, MRI, we've done it all. Not fun, but usually over pretty quickly. The hardest part is having to stand behind a little partition to protect ourselves from the radiation when they are pointing it at my baby's HEAD

DS just had this done last week (he's 5 weeks). Very quick, a total of 4 shots taken. We had it done at a children's hospital and the techs were awesome, I was right there with him and it was less than 10 minutes start to finish.
It will all be fine, hopefully everything is ok! Keep us posted!
DS had to have an MRI because his head is so big and they wanted to make sure nothing was wrong. The worst part is that we had to keep him up until midnight the night before and wake him up at 4am because they said they'd try to get him to sleep so that he'd be still. On the way to the hospital, I had to sit in the back seat with him and poke him to keep him awake. It was torture for both of us. And then they just strapped him down and did the test. Thanks a lot! Then we napped for six hours.
It's really quick. Ds2 had an X ray to check that his narrow head wasn't a result of his skull fusing too early. I'm sure he was on the table less than a minute and they took 4 pics at.l different angles iirc. Hope everything is OK with your little guy.
