So my new OBGYN is pretty sure he found a polyp in my uterus but isn't 100% because the lining is still so thick (even though I have been bleeding/spotting for >15 days).
Anyway, if you had these, did they affect fertility at all once removed? He made it seem like NBD, but we didn't talk much about the after part yet.
He is planning on a D&C possibly next week to remove, which seems like the normal course of action. From what I've gathered, I would go under general anesthesia and its an outpatient procedure.
What was recovery time like? I'm planning on having the procedure on a Thursday, take Friday off (maybe do some light WFH) and return to work Monday.

I had a d&c on a Friday and I felt perfectly normal when I got home from the hospital. I took it easy over the weekend and would have been fine to return to work on Monday physically, but I took a "mental health day" because there was a triple baby shower at work that day and I just didn't need to be around that at that time.

I had one removed and got pg on my third cycle after that. Mine was part of a lap procedure, so not sure about the recovery. My doc said they were really common. I had no symptoms but I had fibroids and my doc said they usually appear together.
I had a D&C for polyp removal, as part of IF treatment (I also had one for a missed m/c). It was not likely to help us conceive naturally, as our issue is male factor, but it was in prep for IVF.
The procedure itself was no big deal. I think I was there for 3ish hours, total. They did the procedure under twilight anesthesia, so I was technically awake, but had no memory of it. I felt just fine as soon as I woke up. I think we went out to lunch afterwards, then I went home and took a nap. I had no further issues and worked the next day. It depends on the type of anesthesia they use, and how you react, but I wouldn't anticipate needing more than a day to recover.
