Last night I watched an entire movie on the little screen that shows when you have the guide or menu pulled up. And consequently stayed up way too late.
We have to unpack from our trip and clean the whole house. I also have essays to grade. We may be getting severe weather today, so I kinda want to stick around home anyway since my dog gets scared.
But the next 3 days have awesome weather forecasted, and we're hoping to paint our patio and do lots of yard work.
I convinced stbx to meet me today to sign/notarize the divorce papers (instead of giving them to him and waiting for him to do it on his own), but I'm being super nice about it. It's kind of annoying, but once his part is filed, all we have to do is wait!

Whatever you've got to do to get it done! Yay for being one step closer!

G is at a work training/retreat till Monday. Part of the itinerary is skiing at Mount Hood. G does not ski. I reeeeally hope he finds someone to sit in the lodge with because I'm scared he's going to break his neck! (doesn't help that I just finished a book about a quadriplegic. Gah.)

A cowirker is making me stabby. She has a tendency of sending emails and copying 5 or 6 people that a really senior, and have no business need to be on these emails. She does it specifically when she is trying to throw someone under the bus, or make them look like they are incompetent at their jobs. She does this to me a few times every month. 9 time out of 10, I will forward her back emails I have already sent to her explaining things, or give the breakdown, that if she could have just asked me individually for. So I keep everyone on the email chains, and she continually looks like an idiot. You would think she would have a different approach by now...we're in the middle of one of these now, and I just want to deck her.
Also, same person, earlier this week, I needed to explain to her the difference between a VENDOR and a CUSTOMER. I am over this week...

Lol, don't worry! I'm sure there will be others who don't ski. Or maybe he can go sledding - is that a thing? If not, it should be.

We are on day 4 of our 2 week clean eating challenge and while it is not intended to help you lose weight, Jerry has lost 8 f'ing pounds already! I do feel less bloated thanks to the lack of salt in the recipes.

I was wondering about this (after seeing Jer's fb pic of dinner last night, lol). What are you following, if you don't mind sharing?
I've been serious about my tracking my food this week, and I already feel better, but maybe something more "intense" would be good.

It is written by an RD, so that made it cool by me. She makes it easy by listing out the two weeks of groceries. I went online, filled my cart and we picked up week 1. Jer is picking up week 2 on Sunday. The only issue is that it is a LOT of cooking and preparation. I generally make myself lunch and the both of us dinner 5 nights a week, but more more simple stuff. The recipes are good, but I miss salt....
sitnspin, thanks for the link! I really don't think I can go without salt. When I'm really trying to eat healthy, it's the only thing that keeps me going because I can snack on raw veggies without feeling deprived as long as there's a little salt involved.

Oh shit, no coffee...yeah, not gonna work for me.
TBH, we have still been drinking coffee because I don't put sugar in it and use coconut milk. I would cut a b!tch without my coffee. We have stuck with all the other rules though.

Hmmm, ok. I don't use sugar and use skim milk most of the time, so maybe that would be fine.
It is a lot of cooking! And you know I love to cook...but making the same salad for lunch every day is just easier.

Good for you guys for sticking to it!
I also like to cook, but I have felt like a slave to the kitchen these last few days. I usually do quick things for breakfast and lunch and these are big productions.
Also, same person, earlier this week, I needed to explain to her the difference between a VENDOR and a CUSTOMER. I am over this week...
NO, I refuse to believe this! Sorry you have to work with someone so completely clueless!!
It's a little more complicated than this, but yup, it boils down to the difference between a vendor and a customer. What is scary is she did my job for like 5 years before she moved into her "audit" role.

OMG, I have 2 or 3 co-workers that do this all. the. time. and it also makes me stabby. It is so passive-aggressively childish and I have no patience for it. I sometimes wish the "reply all" button did not exist.
DH officially starts second shift on Monday. His supervisor told him that it would actually be a great time for him (DH) to get promoted but he has to reapply to the job because his supervisor isn't sure when the company is wanting to fill that role. The promotion may help ease the pain of not seeing him during the week, haha
I am going to be on second shift once I am done with training. Definitely not looking forward to never seeing H. Hopefully your H gets his promotion soon!
We just got up from our basement too. The tornado threat was mainly just north of us.
My parents had a tornado touch down by their house but thankfully move in the opposite direction. And it sounds like a small town in IL called Fairdale got totally leveled So scary.
