I bought a pair from Target a couple months ago and love them. They fit comfortably and I don't feel like my ass crack is showing if I bend over. Unfortunately Target only had the light color.
I hear good things about the American Eagle high rise jeggings, but I don't have any.
I've heard good things about these as well but have yet to try any either.
I'm actually obsessed right now with Express mid rise skinnies. Their mid rise is just enough for me to feel covered in my problem area which is my tummy. After 3 kids and now no time to devote to truly getting it off, these jeans have been the answer to my prayers. They look great and create NO muffin top for me which is a problem with anything lower rise. There's just a bit of stretch to them as well which I love.
I like Topshop's Jamie style. I got them in blue black, but should have gotten my regular size (website suggests sizing up) cuz they stretch a bit more than I had expected.
Lurker here, but I have high-rise jeggings from the Gap outlet. I sized up and they are comfy with no muffin top.
I also like ON Sweetheart, which is their higher rise. I have them in boot cut, straight, and skinny. They are one of the only skinnies that I feel are flattering on me,
I will third this! I used to be loyal to Gap jeans until I discovered AE. I'm petite, curvy and have short legs, and I love the AE mid rise or high rise Skinny. I just bought some black and burgundy ones to wear with my new jean jacket :-)
