Gulp...I enrolled myself into the 75 hour real estate salesperson course! I have several friends who have been in real estate for a while talk to me about some opportunities. My one friend is in his 2nd year and was real estate salesperson on the year in 2014. He wants to expand and wants me to help him do it. I am a bit hesitant, but the way I look at it, if I have the time to commit to it, I can make some money. If not, it is only $500 and some time down the drain.
As usual, I'm in awe of your energy and ambition. Good for you!!
I am of the mindset that if I can make more money, I am going to try. I am getting to a place with the studio that I may be able to hire a part time "manager", so that will help.
You can sleep when you are dead, lol! I only work in the office from 9-4, then I am usually home from the studio by 6:30 during the week. I manage mostly everything else during those hours (meetings, scheduling, etc.). Weekends are pretty free for the most part.
I honestly, cannot sit still. But, when I have my down time, I take it quite seriously. For instance, according to my fitbit, I fell asleep at 11;19 last night and did not wake or toss and turn once until 7:15am!

This is me. Every time someone asks if I'll quit my part time job since I got a position closer to home it's like.. but what would I do with myself? I work no less than 49 hours a week and have 50 minutes to 2 hours of drive time each day, I don't think I could come home and sit and not go crazy.

To use my current favorite phrase: "bitches be crazy"
(creeper alert) I was telling somebody this weekend about all the jobs you have and all I could think of was the law office and spin studio...what else is there?

Ha, ha! I am also an educator for the Spinning program where I present trainings, present at conferences, etc - so that would be #3. Jer is an attorney, he is an attorney for the child in our county, an adjunct professor, and was appointed to be the county liaison for the attorney for the child program in NY.

I was thinking it had something to do with being a certified spin instructor and teaching outside of the studio. And I didn't realize Jer did so much too! But that's why you two are so successful. I'm burnt out after just 4 days at a conference! There's no way I could manage even two jobs!
Also, I feel certain that with your drive, sales mentality, and connections that you will be a very successful real estate agent.

Thanks lady! I have almost always held two jobs. I am extremely paranoid about not being independent, broke, or self sufficient. Does Jerry pay 99% of our bills, yup! But, what if the law office takes a huge hit? I don't want to dip into savings, etc, so I work. Plus, I truly think I was put on this earth to work hard. I really enjoy it, which is weird. Being your own boss is hard, but so rewarding and I love everything else I do.
