A good friend of mine is going to be undergoing chemo and radiation for an aggressive form of cancer and wanted me to make her some PICC line covers. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look for tutorials (google turned up plenty of knit and crochet tutorials but I don't do those things!) and what kind of fabrics would be best?

When I searched pinterest, there were several sewn ones, but no tutorials really. They look like baby leg warmers, but shorter and obviously sized for an adult arm. If they were made from a woven fabric, they were shirred. I think I'd rather have a jersey or fleece cover, personally.

I just wanted to come back and thank you all for your suggestions. Hopefully I can find something that will work at the fabric store when I get there tomorrow.
