You're just 4 weeks so a faint line is till a line. Mine got gradually darker over the days. It gives time for the hCG to build up. Don't freak out or jump to chemical preg until you have actual bleeding. Welcome to the board!
My lines were wonky for two weeks at least when I was testing. I used a lot of Dollar Store tests and I just eventually figured that the dye content in them (or whatever) was not consistent.
Wondfos don't get very dark, and at first mine took a long time (closer to the 10 minute end of the read window) to develop. I got my first squinter at 11 dpo. At 12 dpo I got a slightly-less squinter, and also saw a faint line on a blue dye test. That night I got a positive on a digital. At 15 dpo I got a really strong line on the blue dye test, but the Wondfos never got darker than "definitely a light line."
A line is a line! And as a PP said, wondfos are not always super helpful. I used them as a first step to avoid spending $$$ on HPTs until I got a positive. If you're getting lines on FRERs then I wouldn't worry too much. Give it a few days and test again, the line should be darker. Or, go the digital route.

You're pregnant, congrats!
Yea, I think I am expecting them to get darker each time I pee. I know that is really irrational. I am side-eyeing myself.
Thank you, everyone. Patience is definitely something I have none of.
The best advice I can give you is to stop testing (and temping if you're doing that), you'll just drive yourself nuts and will inevitably over analyze everything. Pregnancy can be an emotional roller coaster, no need to stress yourself out if you don't have to.
Am I the only one that didn't pee on ALL THE THINGS? Tested on a wondfo that was ehhhhh maybe, and then tested again the next day with a wondfo and FRER and got a positive. Didn't pee on anything else after that.

When I decided to test I only had 2 dollar sore ones at home. I tested in the afternoon and got a faint line, then peed on the second one the next morning and it was darker. I did go get a digital a week later because H was still a bit skeptical after my previous CP so it was more for him than anything else. I did not pee on anything after that until my first doctors appointment.
My wondfo was very faint and the FRER was clearly positive at 12dpo. I used one more FRER the next day (darker), but my dr. also sent me for betas right away. I don't trust wondfos.

I got a positive with a CP really early, like 9DPO or 10DPO (so less than 4 weeks), but I wouldn't think that the darkness indicates anything other than how much ink is in the test. I thought Dollar Tree tests were plenty sensitive, but they didn't show up very dark and I ended up relying on a digital (one of the week indicators lol) to say for sure.
My FRERs got darker (I took them every other day, I had 3), but the Wondfos were all over the place. I actually sometimes used two with the same test sample and one would be much darker than the other. My understanding is you can only trust those to say you are pregnant, not to give indication of whether it's sticking.
I tested 3x, (FRER). They were all light, and not getting any darker. I said F it, and have decided not to worry. If I don't have any bleeding I must still be pregnant, right? (Right???)

I have 2 friends who never got positive pregnancy tests and yet are very pregnant or have a child. I don't think the darkness of the line should be any indicator. Good luck
