I'm so tired, this no coffee thing sucks. I can't wait to sleep in tomorrow.
I have a ob/gyn appt this afternoon for an annual exam, I haven't had once since my first pregnancy appt in Oct 2012. With everything else going on I just haven't wanted to be bothered with it! I just hope the wait isn't long.
DH is annoying me already today. I asked him at the beginning of the week if he could take off this afternoon to hang out with me and my brother. He said he couldn't this week, no big deal. So last night I told him again I'm doing lunch with my brother then we'll be hanging out and DH asked me to move lunch so he could join. Okay. Did that, and this morning he says he can't make it cause he has plans. Wtf? Okay fine I move it back. Now he is all whiny cause he wants to go with us but doesn't want to cancel his other plans. Too bad. Then he says he is gonna take the afternoon off afterall.
I just uninvited him. Stop moving stuff around and just stick with what you had planned.
I haven't had an eye exam in five years but my glasses have been giving me major headaches so I finally went to have a new exam yesterday during lunch and picked out two new frames after work. H was adorable and decided to meet me at the store to help me pick out frames. It's rare that he's willing to have an opinion on stuff like that.
I get to pick one pair up today during lunch. I have to wait for the second pair because I decided to give transitions lenses a try so they have to be special ordered, but yay new glasses today!
I Didn't send out my e-mail yesterday. I Had a client walk in at 4:00. It took until 5:15 to get his stuff taken care of. I just locked up and left. I don't even think I clocked out. I got here early today and I'm leaving at noon. because fuck it. DH said something about going to the store with dd#2 after she gets home from school. I may just go home and take a nap. My other kid is going to grandmas house tonight. Wheeee I'm one kid light today! I am hopefully going to get a game of disc golf in with one of my sister in-laws. Later for dinner my OTHER sil is coming over. and I just love her. I can't wait to have a few drinks and hang out. Today is going to be great and nothing is going to stop it.
Does anyone else have a really obnoxious cat? Like gets into everything and purposely does things it know it shouldn't be doing? One of my cats has done this forever and now it's getting unbearable. Any ideas? The main thing is him getting on the counters and in cabinets. We have child locks but they keep falling off, so we have stuff piled in front of the cabinets, but sometimes he's able to get around or move whatever is there. He's just generally annoying and idk what to do anymore. I've tried ignoring, removing him from the situation, giving him more positive attention when he's not doing something wrong, etc, but nothing seems to work. Dealing with him all day makes me want to go back to work now, lol.
estrellita to teach her cats to stay out of what they are not suppose to get into, MIL would use a spray bottle to squirt a little water at them. That's what I would try.

Yes, I was going to say to spray them too. We've used water in the past, right now I have some bottle of cat shampoo my mom gave me so I am using that, deters her and makes her smell good, haha. My cats are generally pretty good but the one has been eating my plant left and right, I think I'm going to have to get rid of it. I normally don't buy plants for that reason but my SIL gave it to me as a gift.
bk1HoneySpider I've tried that in the past and it hasn't really done anything but I might have to try again!
Hmm...just start throwing stuff at him?
I remember when we got our 2nd cat and I was reading all about introducing them, it said if they started to fight to throw a pillow at them. I wonder if the same concept applies to get them to stop doing something?

Haha. I can see how it could work but I'm sure he'd just stare at me and continue doing whatever it was. He knows he's doing something wrong because as soon as I get up to shoo him off the counter, he jumps down. Same cat scratches our door every night
We're going to a wedding tonight. I love weddings! The thing is, I thought it was going to be colder out, so I intended to wear boots. Thus, I only shaved the tops of my legs/knees. My ankles haven't been shaved in about 4 months, and I'm a hairy beast. I have no intention of shaving my ankles, and of my 5 pairs of heels all are uncomfortable, so boots it is. Sorry if TMI lol.
estrellita - I never tried it because the spray bottle always worked with my cat, but I want to say that I've read something about putting tin foil on the surfaces you don't want them on. Maybe it's not tin foil. It might be something else. But it's something like that.

I'm not helpful.
I've tried this in the past and he plays with it, lol. I suppose it's worth a shot again though! I swear he knows every "trick" and won't let them work on him just to piss me off!
We have a second showing with the people who looked yesterday!!!! Plus another two showings. Fingers crossed because with us both working full-time jobs and me having grad school finding places for the pups is getting to become a headache.
awick14 Tomorrow's showings shouldn't be too bad because it's supposed to be in either the 60s or 70s with no rain, so we'll just go for a walk or a car ride. Today was rough, because we got the calls for all three showings while we were both at work. I teach, so even though I'm only 5 miles away, I just can't run home. And H works a good 30-40 minutes away. Luckily our dog walker is the retired lady next door. She was kind enough to run over, grab the dogs from their crates, and throw them in her townhouse today. But one of the showings came super early, so the dogs were in the basement crated. I'm sure they were loud and obnoxiously barking though, because while super friendly, Moo will bark until a) he knows who is in the house and b) until you come over and talk to/greet him.
