A question about suit jackets

When you wear a suit do you wear the jacket buttoned, unbuttoned, or both depending on the situation?

Ok j/k, I don't even think I own one. I'm not fancy like that.

I would wear it however you feel comfortable, I do think buttoned up looks more professional though. (Unless of course the jacket is ill fitting then unbuttoned is better.)

So really I am of no help.

I typically walk in with it buttoned, and then sometimes unbutton it when I sit, so I don't become a wrinkled mess.

I was thinking about this yesterday. I generally wear it buttoned because I feel it looks more professional but I also feel it looks more....stuffy? IDK the right word. It's definitely more uncomfortable. I guess it depends on the suit and the person. I was just trying to think if someone would side eye me if I wore the jacket unbuttoned.

Both. I typically do like the men do, buttoned when standing, unbuttoned when sitting.
