I follow Michael Buble on FB and saw the original Instagram photo with the hashtags #myhumps #babygotback #hungryshorts #beautifulbum.
So after he was deservedly lambasted for being a sexist, exploitative jackass, this is his response just posted to FB:
Anybody who knows me would never misinterpret the message of the photo my wife took in Miami that seems to have caused unexpected rage by some people. I do not court controversy. But I realize that a photo that was meant to be complimentary and lighthearted has turned into a questionable issue. For the record, It hurts me deeply that anyone would think that I would disrespect women or be insulting to any human being.. I was not brought up that way and it is not in my character. I regret that there are people out there who found the photo offensive. That was not and is not my intention. Women are to be celebrated, loved, respected, honored and revered. I’ve spent my life believing that and will continue to do so.

The fact that he bring his wife into it, like the fact that a lady was involved in it, so it can't be misogynistic, is soo "I have a black friend!" Also? Have you seen his wife? Yeah, I'm going to stereotype people now, but she totally looks like the sort of woman who runs around making fun of women who don't look like her. And she's a model who basically makes a living off of showing everyone her boobies AND her ass! This woman's ass is shaped differently from her's so it's funny, or something? They both need to learn why what they did was wrong.
ETA: Really, google her! There is photo after photo of her ass hanging out of this for the general public to see! She doesn't think there's anything wrong with showing your ass, if it looks like hers. She thought it was hilarious that anyone with an ass so different could have the audacity to have it visible like that!
You know, I would really like ALL media personalities and celebrities to go to the Benedict Cumberbatch School of Sincere Apologies. Here's the run down:
1. You admit you fucked up. No stammering. No excuses. No blaming it on the wife. No telling us that everyone is doing it and that you're really a stand-up guy and you would never normally do such again. 2. You explain that you are sorry for your error in judgment. 3. You promise not to be a major wanker again.

I can't believe he doesn't have a better 'person' to have corrected this wanker-ass gobbly-goop. "I regret that there are people out there who found the photo offensive." is a disgusting non-fault-admission, if there ever was one. How bout "I regret that the photo I posted offended some people"? But he had to even take a further step back & he regrets that there is this existence of such people in the world...? Pisses me right off. Way more than his original dumbass move.
"Not gonna lie; I kind of keep expecting you to post one day that you threw down on someone who clearly had no idea that today was NOT THEIR DAY." ~dontcallmeshirley
I thought it was kind of known he's a bit of a douchenozzle.
I think it is. His concerts are irreverently hilarious from what I hear. So in that case, take your lumps from the original photo if you want to stand by it. This fake apology is really more insulting to me than the original photo because it faults me for being a no-fun harpy for daring to side-eye him.
