I'm cutting my hair. I look like a fucking Duggar.
Anyone want to help me find a hairstyle? Mu hair is thick and wavy. It curls more the shorter it is, but it definitely has frizzy tendencies. I like to have the option to wear it curly, but straighten it too.
The curly one is probably a year and a half ago, but you get the idea. This is the only 2 ways my hair has looked in yeeeaaaaarrrssss. I'm so bored of it.
I love your hair!! And I love it long! I can't even talk about hair cutting without getting anxiety. I always think i will hate it and they always make it too short. Just wanted to say I love it like it is!

I would love your hair!! Mine is the same always and it's always straight. No second option here. What about adding some color? A bright red/fushia layer? Duggars wouldn't do that!
I cut off about 14" a month ago. All I did was pull it up in a bun, but since I was going back to work, figured I needed a style again. I can't figure out how to attach a pic, but I liked cobie smulders with short hair, so I did something similar & love it. How can I attach a pic?
Wow! Both of yall have gorgeous hair. But I definitely agree that it's too long. I would go to just past your shoulders. Take some weight off the hair and leave some long layers, the curls will be so pretty. Neither of you have hair like Reese Witherspoon so I don't think that picture/cut is even a consideration. Her hair is fine and stick straight.

Meh I think long bobs that just hit the shoulders are a universally flattering cut regardless of hair type and really I'd say most cuts fit various types of hair. My hairdresser and I had the same cut for a while (angled bob) and our hair is totally different-hers is curly and course and mine is more wavy and I have a lot of hair but it's finer. Even our body types are different-she's short and carries weight in her belly and I'm very tall and curvy. It looked good on both of us.

I love and endorse the collarbone length lob and/or layers for everyone. I swear it's the most flattering cut and it's a big change from long without being a crazy change. I have very thick, textured, straight hair. My family is all wavy but only inherited the puffy and frizzy attributes of waves. I'm growing out a poor decision and it's just shoulder length now. I cannot wait for a couple more inches.

But the picture is misleading. Their hair would never look like that.
I have hair envy! I have thin fine hair that refuses to grown past my shoulders. I don't have any suggestions because I'd happily look like cousin It if my hair would go along with it.

Funny you say that because my childhood bffs older brother used to call me cousin it. Lol

I was reading that she shouldn't consider the cut because her hair wasn't the same way. Fwiw I have hair like nandas--I just straighten it. You can in fact make any hair type bone straight. Of course her hair would be thicker but that wouldn't dramatically change the look. You can also have your hair cut in such a way to thin it out.

I was thinking the same thing! Mine refuses to grow any longer than chin-length. On the plus side, I've done just about everything imaginable to my hair, because I know it'll grow back relatively quickly.
I think fun colours should happen at any age. Life is too short. I'm 37 and still do all kinds of colors, just for fun.
