11,825. I'm beginning to wonder if the Amazon registry is not fully registering all the purchases because it seems like we have more from them than the registry indicates we should.

I love that they are so organized. And holy shit, that is a lot of diapers!

Brie about to make an order but then I started thinking about wipes? Are they not as important? I guess not. You can wipe with anything. I guess I'll do diapers. Sorry for the thinking out loud.

I think she said earlier the organization prefers to only distribute diapers.

Ok. I am also scouring Brie's FB page looking for the exact verbiage I want to use to share this on my FB wall but I can't find it. Gov't assistance doesn't cover diapers, right? That's the fact I'm looking for.

Correct. Neither WIC nor SNAP allow diapers as a purchase.
@kcpokergal is correct on both counts. They don't distribute wipes because they don't have enough for all their clients to get them, and to get them regularly. They just want it to be as fair as possible.
I did get a case of wipes from a family member. I'm going to try to exchange them for diapers this weekend.
Brie, thanks for organizing this. I plan on donating, but am going to do it locally, because over 11 drugstores were closed in Baltimore this week due to the riots, and several groups here are asking for diapers. You are my motivation for donating. Thanks.
Okay, there are 12,309 in my garage. By my latest spreadsheet calculation, we are up to about 13,800 total, which means only 1200 more to hit 15K! Woo!

Are you doing it through the link you shared on FB? (I'm going to donate through that but wanted to see if you knew of other groups)
Oh mind sharing the link? I was looking for diaper banks around here but couldn't find much via Google.

I was thinking that sounded like a good one. I will provide a link later. humpforfree
I just updated my handy spreadsheet and it's showing that we're at 14,884. With the local MMMs bringing their donations on Saturday, we will EASILY hit 15,000.
You guys are the best. For real. I will have lots of pictures of drop off!
